Don't worry, there are people who don't enjoy masturbation. There can be many reasons.
1) you are not doing it right. Trying reading up on it. Try "Sex for One" by Betty Dodson. You may need to spend a lot of time discovering your body. It may not happen right away. It may take time.
2) You may have religious or other such hang ups. Did you grown up in a sex negative environment? Did your religion teach you masturbation was wrong?
3) You may just need a vibrator. I have tried and I just can't get any satisfaction with my hand. Now my vibe works.
4) Sexual pleasure for you is not about the sensations you get from your genitals. You may enjoy the skin contact, the interaction with the other person, the power/humiliation game with somebody, etc.
don't worry too much about it. Just keep trying but don't let it bother you if it doesn't work.Freedom is just another word for nothing left to lose - Kris Kristofferson and Fred Foster (sung by Janis Joplin) -
I do not do it either. Does not do anything for me I mean I can finish it is just that I choose not to go about doing it. I have absolutely no fantasies or "instant arousal" go-to thought so I am essentially just rubbing until I get that specific tingle that I know will lead me to an orgasm. However that can take a very long time to get to so I simply do not bother. Time in bed with my bf is definitely what I prefer though, I still rarely orgasm but I certainly feel good when he is touching me which is perfectly okay by me as orgasm is not a requirement in my opinion. There are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy.Comment

Well, I'm s very late bloomer in masturbation department. I went through 16 years of Catholic school (grade school, high school and college). So I'm quite familiar with the idea of "good girls don't do that." I wouldn't say my house was sex negative. But I think my dad did some issues with my sexuality when I hit puberty. If I was in earshot of my dad I couldn't use the word period or pad.
I've been with my husband for 19 years (dated 10 1/2 and married 8 1/2). . He had brought up the subject numerous times. I poo-pooed it. And for much of our marriage I had limited to no sex drive (see my post "Change in Sex Life" for further details). Then about 2 years ago my sex drive returned and all of sudden I started to masturbate with a vibrator. I get some satisfaction but many times it just makes me hornier instead of relieving it. Is this unusual?Comment
