    Depression After Sex

Ok so this has been a really annoying problem. Everytime i have sex i feel awful even if its good sex, granted a lover has never made me orgasim before. I get so sad i just want to cry and be left alone. I just can't explain how horrible i feel, its just this pain in my chest and gut, but i dont regret having sex. Ive had sex with four people one of them was my first love. If i loved him so much why did i feel so sad after sex? Isnt that supposed to be some monumental in a relationship? Bring you closer? If so why did i just want to break down after? Has this happened to other people?

I tried talking about it with one of the guys i was seeing and had just had sex with when he asked why i was so tense (after talking endlessly about how uphoric(?) he felt and how he only felt that way with me). I told him that i didnt regret it, and i had a good time, but after words i just feel so horrible. I completely killed his mood. And all he said was, we dont have to have sex if you dont want to.

    I just feel like ****.

With the first love, did you ALWAYS feel sad after sex? When you say you feel horrible, are they feelings of guilt? Like feelings that you're dirty now? How would you describe those horrible feelings? Is there fear the man will lose respect/interest in you due to sleeping with him? Do you think the feelings come from how you were raised, or perhaps the area you were raised if sex before marriage was highly frowned upon? Are the feelings tied to a religious belief?

I have felt sad before after sex. I think it's because I hoped the sex would turn a mediocre relationship into something phenomenal. And it didn't. I didn't feel fireworks. I didn't feel any explosion. And then I felt like I had wasted myself. (Though I very strongly feel differently now at this point in my life).

Its nothing around religious beliefs, i wasnt raised in a very religious family . But its mostly like this horrible sadness. Maybe its like you said, i didnt feel fireworks, even when i wasnt, or so i thought, expecting a relationship, when i KNOW nothing can grow from this. But even when i was dating my first love, it was ALWAYS like this, i was SO sad after evrytime we had sex.

I am just speculating here because I am not a physician, but could it be hormonal. Sex involves many hormons, specifically domanine and the changes in those levels could make you feel depressed. See if you can have an orgasm because that raises your "happy" hormones. I know you said sex with your partners didn't help, but maybe you can self stimulate. Try a vibe or other stuff to have that orgasm.

I'm 19 and I've been having that same problem and I have no idea what is going on. Sometimes the sadness comes right after the sex and sometimes the next morning. I feel like I don't know anything about the guy anymore even though we've known each other for a long time. I can't look into his eyes and it just feels like I have nowhere to go, I can't walk outside or see people. It feels like I've somehow let myself down everytime I have sex. Sex is the trigger for everything negative in my life and I've grown to hate it in some level and it's sad, no one should feel that way.

Maybe I don't have enough confidence or trust in myself to have sex and enjoy it. My feelings towards the person dissappear and all I see are dirty bed sheets and hard light and impurity, selfish seeking of pleasure and that is probably my biggest issue. And when I burst out in tears, the guy has no idea what's happening and I have no words to explain. Should change my profession to moodkiller

I don't know. Maybe someday I'll find the one who can show me there is joy in this. It's good to know I'm not the only one dealing with these issues! Lots of love to you xxx

if u have fears about the consequences, or u had sex just because u were curious, or unprotected sex, or sex with some random guy, or if u had thoughts b4 like sex is taboo, or if u have sex in late hours

u ll feels fireworks only when u have sex with the right partner ( i guess )

nothing to do with hormones , sex releases endorphins like chemicals which opiod like chem which keeps u euphoric,
if u don't feel good after sex may be u didnt have with the right man ( except that some prople get coital headache if u didnt get good sleep)
