Does tickling have this effect on others or am I a freak in the arousal department?

Tickle fight
I haven't enjoyed sex with my husband for a long time for many reasons. Last night we were watching the movie Dirty Dancing on TV. When they got to part where Johnny tickled Baby during dance practice, my husband reached over and tickled my ribs. Soon we were in a tickling fight that ended up with him getting me down on the floor in the hall. He was tickling me all over and I was laughing and fighting when I realized I was getting turned on. I pulled him down and started kissing and one thing lead to another, right on the floor in the hall. I had 3 orgasms before it was over. The first real orgasms I have had in over 7 months.

Not thinking about anything is Zen. Once you know this, walking, sitting, or lying down, everything you do is Zen.

Being tickled can be a major turn on for some people, others it can be annoying or overwhelming. Maybe playful domination by him is a way to get you in the mood. Good for both of you.I have but one lamp by which my feet are guided, and that is the lamp of experience.

Shall we gather strength by irresolution and inaction? Shall we acquire the means of effectual resistance by lying supinely on our backs and hugging the delusive phantom of hope, until our enemies shall have bound us hand and foot?

I think it was partly because you were not expecting sex at all hence no pressures no focus on pain or anything just letting your mind go and partially because he was touching you. Sounds weird to some that touching from tickling can be arousing but it is not the laughter part but the gentle fingers all over the body part of it all that can be arousing. I think it is awesome that it ended up like that. Maybe this is the key to getting your spark back, just not expecting anything to lead to sex and if it does then hey just roll with it like you did. There are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy.Comment

Go Chaya Go!!
I do think tickling heightens your nerves and reactions. But I believe it's that in combination with the touching and the laughter that can make that situation get hot and steamy.
It could also be in part due to the recent compromises you made together.... you spoke up about what YOU wanted and found out that he's not just a "my way or the highway" kind of guy...he was willing to compromise to see you happy. So maybe you were already feeling a bit better about things...and the tickling and physical closeness just set things over the edge.
Regardless, good for you!!!Comment

It may well not be the actual tickling, but more likely because you were relaxed and happy and also in a new situation. Doing something different together and obviously enjoying it can be a massive turn on, especially something which has you physically close. You were too busy having fun to worry about whether you'd orgasm or not, so you did - all in all it was the perfect situation to just let yourself go and have a darn good time. Too often we get caught up in predictability and may be subconsciously bored which dampens arousal. Glad you had such a fabulous time!Comment

I seemed to have regained at least part of my mojo back. Last night I was able to get aroused enough to enjoy my husbands attentions almost to orgasm. If he had lasted a little longer I think I would have. Tickling didn't seem to do it like it did Friday but a lot of naked cuddling and kissing did. Another thing that helps is my husband is being super careful not to hurt me although I still worry he could get too excited and forget.sigpic
