I m a 20 year old girl. I havent had sex with any guy yet. But I also dont know whether my hymen is broken or not... I am doing masturbation since 4 years. i m always having fantasies with my bf and some other good looking guys(my crush/lust). I am imaging them and having fantasies of having sex with them. While doing this I have used so many things for masturbation like my finger, toothbrush, cucumber, carrot etc.... Normally things are going good. but last time when I was enjoying a school friend (other than my bf) I got good amount of blood while fingering. I was totally wet and had penetrated my finger only. but suddenly i saw a good amount of blood on my finger. i am too much worried. what might have happened? I have never had blood in this way earlier. Even when i tried with carrot and cucumber (penetrated almost 13.5cm).... everything went good but this time i got blood on my finger. anything like that i need to worry? I cant ask anyone so I m asking it here. what can I do to prevent it in future or is it normal?

Hi newbi, can I ask, do you have fingernails? Only the lining of your vagina is very thin, you maybe have caught your nail perhaps?
Also you maybe bleeding in between periods, this ice called spotting. Many women get this, it is part of your natrual cycle.
A for your hymen, it is hard to say, if you have had sex or used any items as you have the chances are you don't have it, a carrot is probably as long as a guys penis. But I would check your cycle, and your nails in case.

Hi Whispa, Thanks for your answer. I have gone through it. I would like to tell you that I do not keep my fingernails that much long so that it can hurt me. And ya this thing happen 8-10 days after may natural cycle. I agree that I may be my hymen has already broken as i had used lots of things like a penis to masturbate. Thats why I was worrying that if this is not because of hymen then what it can be? And I have a question that if this has happened due to my thin vagina then is it likely to be happen every time I will have intercourse with my husband/bf ?

No, not necessarily. It could be natural spotting in between periods, this can happen, even on the pill. The lining is very thin, I bleed on occasion for seemingly no reason, if the bleeding has stopped, I wouldn't be too concerned, it could just be your body. As I said, I even get spotting in between, it is an irritation to say the least, I have learnt to be prepared now, and bring liners in my bag to work in case.
If it happens again then perhaps visit your local gp if you are very concerned. But I dot think it would be anything too worrying just now, it sounds like spotting. If you haven't bled with a carrot or anything else, finger is shorter.

A penis does not have sharp edges, so usually there are not problems as long as the size isn't too large. I would say that even trimmed fingernails can cause damage unless they are trimmed very short and have the edges filed.
