Having sex for te first time

When I was 14 I was raped at a party, now I am 22 and have never had sex and i have met the perfect guy an have been with him for almost 3 years now and i am thinking about having sex with him. I am nervous that it is going to be very painful and I'm going I bleed a lot . Is there any tips you can give me to help thIngs go a little smother? It would help me a lot.

You'll get better advice from the girls, but I would say work up to full intercourse gradually, and don't go any further than you feel comfortable going. 22 isn't really late to have sex, don't feel like there is a deadline you have to have sex by, the right time to have sex is the time that you feel is best for you.

This guy you're with must be a decent type if he's been with you and waited for three years. Is he aware of your situation and has he had sex before? If he hasn't he'll likely be more nervous than you!

There is a great book called 'the barefoot doctor's handbook for modern lovers', I think you would enjoy it and benefit from reading it, many of your questions will be answered.

I'm so sorry about what happened, that must have been awful! Hope you are healing okay.

When I lost my virginity, it didn't bleed at all. It didn't bleed for any of my friends, but I heard it can happen. But those I've heard of that happening, said there was only a little blood.

It will probably hurt. Mine hurt the first 6 or more times. It's natural. It's normal. I've talked to other girls who've said it didn't hurt at all for them. That would have to do with your tightness and the size of his penis, of course.

Also, go slow. Go at a pace you are comfortable with. If you are comfortable enough to think about having sex with this guy, then you should be comfortable enough to tell him what you like and don't like. Let him know if it hurts too bad, tell him to go slower or more gentle. Make sure you are wet. Lot's of foreplay.

It should be intimate. It may be nerve racking, but it'll be okay. Just make sure this guy treats you right.

      Good luck!
