    bit painful

I started having sex for the first time about five months ago with no problem. However a month later I started the pill and two months later I moved on to have the implant in my arm and came off the pill (just to say im 18 nearly 19). I think it was about the time that I got the implant that after a few sessions it would hurt when he went relatively deep, it would hurt quite bad when he hit a certain spot and it would hurt more in some positions than in others. If we don't have sex for about a week it's fine for approx two sessions and then it hurts deep inside again. We thought it could be me not being aroused enough so tried more foreplay and very occasionally it works enough that we can both relax in whatever position, but that will only happen occasionally. It never hurts after, just during but sometimes its that bad when he hits that spot we have to stop straight away and try something else or whatever. We both have clean health as far as STDs as he had a full check when he found his ex had thrush (just before we got together). And he is my first and I've been checked for all basic things.
Has anyone had this before and can give me any suggestions how to make it a better, like could it just be too much prodding too deep too often??

It sounds like he's hitting your cervix. I know when my husband hits mine, it's awful. It's just taken us time for him to figure out what is okay and what isn't as far as depth and angle.

Thanks that makes me feel a bit better from all the things you read online which just makes you feel like you've got every disease going round.

I agree with rosenkitten. I think certain positions like doggie makes it more likely for you to hit the cervix. Also, make sure you are fully aroused. One of the things that happens during arousal is that your vagina canal lenghtens. Don't measure arousal just by wetness. Its very common for people who just started having sex to cut back on foreplay. You get so excited about sex that you tend to jump over the foreplay that you used to do. At least 20 minutes of foreplay is a must.

He could be hitting your cervix or you could possibly have some type of infection. I also can't have much intercourse without painful sessions and I recently found out it's because I've got an infection that needs to be treated. I would say try going to your OB and explaining to him/her what you are experiencing. They'll probably have to give you an exam though so they can truly tell you an accuracy of what's going on. Pain should never be an issue with sex(unless desired lol) couples should be able to have sex pleasurably whenever they want without having to hold off for a certain amount of time.
