OK, I made as assumption here that you have hair . But even if you don't, just rubbing the head is great. My hubby loves head scratches so I do that. Holding hands can be very romantic. I tell him how much I love him and how he is the best, etc which really helps me connect with him when I can't be face-to-face with him. Something else my hubby does is hold my hands down so I can't move. This adds a little bondage/dominace element to it if you guys enjoy that.

It sounds like your wife is not so open to different experiences. Keep telling her how much you enjoy them/her. After hearing it often enough, she will start believing it. Maybe read a book together like The Joy of Sex. It may make her open to the idea of trying different things.

Some women like getting oral, some don't. Is she fussy about smells or is that place down there unclean to her?

I wonder if your wife might have some sort of mental block.

Until recently I was very inhibited. I had the habit of dismissing it, jokingly, as the aftereffects of 12 years of Catholic education. Earlier this year I was reading a thread here on Women's Health, in part the author of the post recommended looking back at your family's attitude toward sex to see if there might be something there causing a block

I know most men are skittish when their daughters hit puberty. My dad took being uncomfotable to an almost humorous extreme. Well, it would've been humourous if it was happening to someone else. My dad was so skittish that I couldn't refer to my period in any way in his presence. Which extened to asking my mom to pick up pads when she was going to the store.

Anyway, after reading the post I realized that that was where the block had been all these years. I think my dad's reaction inadvertantly conditioned me to think sex was something to be hidden. This block is now gone along with other things that were causing me to have a less than fulfilling sex life with my husband.

        Thought my story might help.
