    Size matters or not.

Ok here we go; I am 40 yrs old married. My biggest insecurity always has been the size of my penis (7 Inc.) I don’t know why because some people think that is a normal size. But to me is kind of small, my wife doesn’t know about this insecurity. I know that is not way to increase the size but I have hard time sometimes accepting that fact. And I get frustrated because I have hard time accepting my truth.

First off you are fine in the size department, different sources of information will give different "average" sizes however the general consensus seems to be about 6 inches as average. Secondly to put it bluntly women simply do not care. Sure there are some women just like men who become obsessive and outright rude if their partner does not have x size of y body part but in an overall sense that is not the case. If your wife is happy then that is what should matter. There is more to sex than putting a penis inside a vagina so what a man may think is a lack in size can be made up for in overall technique of other sexual actions. If you make it a big deal then it does become a big deal. You are fine try not to be overly concerned about it.

This is like a woman with DD's being insecure about how small her breasts are.

Most of us probably have some insecurities about our appearance or size somewhere. The key is not to put too much emphasis on things you can't change so as to let them overwhelm you. Your wife probably doesn't know because it's not an issue to her. In fact, if you do a search on this woman dominated site, you'll find that most of the real (as in physical, not mental) problems women have with size are not their men being too small, but in pain and discomfort from them being too large. You're probably borderline on that end, my friend. The aroused vagina is typically 4-5 inches. You'd probably hurt some people with your equipment.

Depending on what country or region you are from, you are average, above average or well above average. Why do you think you are small? Is it from porn? Has someone said something to you in the past?

In the studies relating to penis length where the measurements were done by someone else (not by the person who's penis is being measured) are surprisingly shorter then you think. You my friend are much above average. They of these range from 5.1" to 5.9" with 5.4" the most common.

Worrying about something over which you have no control is a waste of time.

Do you worry equally about your shoe size? Hair loss? Eye color?
