Post coital bleeding (bleeding during intercourse)?

Hey guys. I have an OB/GYN appt. but it isn't for a month and I'm growing increasingly more worried so I thought I would ask here to see if this is in any way normal. About 85% of the time I have mildly heavy bleeding during sex. It isn't so much that it pours out and coats the sheets but it does coat my husbands penis and/or finger pretty well and takes several "wipes" of toilet paper to clear up. I have only ever had one sexual partner. We've been married for about a year and a half and this has been happening for several months so there is no chance it could be related to an STD or pregnancy. I've also changed by BC twice so it isn't related to that either. Sometimes I do feel some discomfort during sex but it isn't always related to the bleeding (i.e. sometimes I bleed and feel no discomfort, and sometimes I feel discomfort yet don't bleed). Does this happen to any one else? Does anyone know what could be causing it? I am hoping to get in touch with my Dr. to ask her about it before my appointment but sometimes it isn't always possible. Any insight would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

This seems a little bit of a mystery. I am not a medical professional so am making a very random guess here. Maybe you have a cut inside your vagina and every time you have sex, it opens up the wound again. Maybe refraining from penetrative sex for a week to let it heal? Also, make sure you are lubricated sufficiently. Either naturally or with some lube.

You have post coital bleeding the common cause for it is polyp hanging from cervix. Your doctor will remove it during examination of vagina, after that you will have no bleeding,

It could be a polyp from the cervix, in which case your doc will probably also give you a pap smear. It could also be from endometriosis perhaps as another guess.
