    confused

I am 29 and recently got in my first lesbian relationship. We have been together for over two years but just the other day she gave me oral sex and then we had nex after. that next morning she had a rash around her mouth and on her vagina. I recently had my yearly and was checked for everything and all came back negative. I have not been with anyone ellse in years and she says she hasnt either. Now everytime we do it she gets a rash. i dont get them though. I dont understand y this is just now starting when we have been doing this foor 2 years. I recently had a yeast infection is it possible tht it is tranferring to her, the rash goes away in one day with no medication. Or maybe BV I have always had issues with that could that be the cause?

Hi Gracie, you may notice I moved your post to the "Sex" forum rather than the "WH Feedback" forum. Your topic is more suited here and will be likely to get more responses.

You can buy over the counter urine stick tests to see if you could possibly have yeast or BV. However, if the rash appears immediately after and then goes away until the next time, it seems more like she's experiencing a reaction to perhaps your soap, lotion, perfume, fabric softener, etc. Or perhaps if you shave certain areas below, she could be getting a bit raw or rashed from the shaved area.

I thought the same thing but then the question is why the allergic reaction just now starting? I hav used the same soaps detergents n all for many years because of frequent bv. only change I hav made is I recently stopped takn my birth control.

A person can develop an allergy over time. It doesn't necessarily have to be something they were allergic to all along. An allergy can result from frequent exposure to something. Allergies are strange. The only thing you can do is try experimenting a bit with what you use and see if anything alleviates the rash. Because it's happening in BOTH of those areas of her body, it makes me think it is some type of allergic reaction. Does it happen every single time or just sometimes?

Try not using any type of soap or lotion for a while and see how that goes. You can develop allergies as you get older and after multiple exposures. Also, companies change the chemicals in the products you use. So that lotion that you have been using for 2 years may not be exactly the same.

gracie, could you give an overview of what you to do with her other than her giving you oral. I am trying to figure out the route between her mouth and her vagina.

Her mouth could get irritated if you trim your pubic hair short. Pubic hair is usually coarse and can feel quite prickly when giving oral sex to a girl if it is trimmed short (personal experience). I prefer natural or long trimmed hair down there for giving oral, but shaved is a second best. The prickly hair could transfer bacteria into pokes in her skin, thereby causing a rash or pimples. Because there are no root areas in these pokes, they usually wouldn't develop into the same pimples as infected hair roots or ingrown hairs. Then when you kiss her, some of the bacteria gets on your skin. Later you give her oral, thus completing the transfer. Or the transfer could be done with a toy.

I think bacteria on a person's face skin is probably worse than most bacteria around the vagina and clitoris. It just needs favorable conditions to multiply.

Anyhow, just possibilities without knowing more of the situation.

I dont kno wat its called scissors, grinding,riding...I feel like im writing a porno here lol. But its like my vagina rubbing on hers. I kno tht soumds self explanatory and all yalls explanations make sense its just a Lil confusing tht it is just now strting after all this time. We had sex again tonight so I will c what happens in the morning. It was a Lil awkward cuz we r both tryna figure this all out n neither one of us want a rash. I get bacteria vaginosis alot so mayb tht could hav something to do with it. Like mayb that bacteria irritating her skin.

That explains the route to her vagina. Are you trimmed short? Those short hairs can irritate tender skin. The bacterial vaginosis could indicate that your genital chemistry is conducive to bacterial growth, but a more likely explanation is because you have pubic hairs trimmed short. Also, the reason it could have started now is the source of irritant is from her face (such as makeup). From your first post, did you indicate it was your first time getting oral from her? What was different than the times before? Sit down and try to list the differences on paper then see if any patterns emerge.

One additional comment on the lotion/soap angle: If you do change (and you should since that may be the answer), look for two labels: hypoallergenic and fragrance free. Something that a lot of people don't realize is that "unscented" isn't the same as "fragrance free." "Unscented" things may still have ingredients that can cause reactions. HTH.
