Spotting for a few days is not unusual, but it could be a lead up to your period.I have but one lamp by which my feet are guided, and that is the lamp of experience.

Shall we gather strength by irresolution and inaction? Shall we acquire the means of effectual resistance by lying supinely on our backs and hugging the delusive phantom of hope, until our enemies shall have bound us hand and foot?
From a speech by Patrick Henry on March 23, 1775 at St. John's Church, Richmond, Virginia -
Bleeding after your have sex for the first time is pretty normal. Most likely your hymen tore, which might be the cause of the bleeding, and also why it was painful. It could also be period spotting. Pregnancy probably isn't likely, implantation bleeding is normally a week or two later, but if your cycle becomes unusual you might want to check just to be sure. It's always a good idea to use birth control if you want to avoid pregnancy, though :]Comment
