ouch! please help
Ok so embarrassing as this is I hope someone out there can help me. Last night while having intercourse with my husband he accidently cut me in the vaginal area with his fingernail. I actually bled enough where it was on him and had to wipe several times to get most of the blood.(sorry this is so gross but i dont know how else to say it). This morning i am very sore and it BURNS so bad when I go to the bathroom. Is there anything I can do to help relieve the pain or to help it to heal quickly. I am miserable. TIA -
Urine has forms of ammonia in it and will burn on any type of open cut. One good thing about urine is that is does not contain batiera so there is a low chance of infection from urine. One thing you can do to ease the burn while going is poor water down on you while you go potty.
Assuming that it is on the outside. keep some clean and dry. Wash with plain water then dry. And place some dry unsented tissue over it (no added chemicals on tissue). Or use a clean dry cloth. Replace at least once an hour.
If you find unusual swelling and sincitivity to the area or see a white bubble form you defanately need to see a doctor for infection. If not you can also just see a doctor about getting some pain relieving cream or pills. But as for applying anything, unless it is doctor approved you could find yourself worse off. -
Hey happily,
Sorry about your cut. It should heal on its own, I personally would not put any neosporin or anything like that on it. It hurts now because it just happened, but give it a day and it should feel better. Check the progress and make sure it doesn't get infected, which it shouldn't.
(I get these little tears all the time just from intercourse and they sting initially but they're fine by the next day)
I would just wait until it heals before you have sex again. A few days.Comment

dunno if this helps bu I would try bathing it in warm water a few times a day, keep it clean and stuff, and also make sure it's well 'air-riated' (is that a word?)
But yeah, let it heal, and be careful not to rip it again I dunno, sports or something might rip it... I'm not an expert, it's just an assumption ^^;Comment
