I am 18 years old and a few days ago I gave my first oral sex to my boyfriend. I swallowed his semen and now i'm discharging a lot. He is not a virgin and has had vaginal and anal sex before. I recently just got sick with food poisoning and that is really when I started to discharge a lot but I'm still worried I might of caught something.

Is this normal after giving oral? or having food poisoning?

Are you saying you are vomiting? Or do you have diarrhea? Or vaginal discharge?

If you recently had some sort of food poisoning, your stomach and intestinal tract may not be ready for anything yet including semen. How did you get rid of the food poisoning? Medicine?

If you're talking vaginal discharge, it's probably not connected.

About your stomach however, semen can irritate it and make you feel queasy. Just getting over food poisoning would not help this side effect.

Using your mouth on his penis would likely not cause vaginal symptoms - if you were to catch some kind of disease, it would affect your lips/mouth area.

It seems you're concerned about your boyfriend's past - that's healthy! Has he had an STI test lately? It's just as important for him to stay on top of his sexual history as for you. In the meantime, make sure you are using condoms for any future sexual contact. Condoms aren't fun, but some STIs are forever - and it's good incentive to get him tested
