The past 3 days have been awful. I believe I hit my peak (posted about this a few days ago, and thank you so much for your help!!), I am 48 years old. I'm not even thinking about sex during the day, but my body certainly is. The past 3 days my vagina, clitoris, and everything in that area has been so extremely sensitive, that I'd rather run around naked as even wearing clothes is "irritating". Not irritating painful-wise, but irritating as in aroused, from the moment I wake up to the moment I fall asleep at night. Even sex and orgasms only hold it off for a few minutes. I've resorted to taking sleeping pills at night and even during the day just to get a break from this. I am considering seeing my doctor to see if there is something that can be done. I am hoping she can help, as at the end of next week I'll be sitting on an airplane for 8 1/2 hours, and to be aroused on the plane would not be fun. Has anyone ever had this and what did you do to help it? Thank you so much!!

bingo....i thought the same thing. i have seen documentaries about women who have well over 30 orgasms a day because that is the only way they get relief from the constant arousal. on the surface it sounds very sexy but it really is a terrible inconvenience to be masturbating almost all day long.Comment

Honestly, I have never heard of Persistent Genital Arousal Disorder. I'll look it up and see what I can learn about it. Maybe eventually I'll be able to not have to take sleeping pills during the day just to get a break from it. I thought I knew my body, but not anymore.
