Embarrassed and need some advice please x

    Hi guys,
I'm new to the forums,I am 31 not had a lot of sexual partners and would really appreciate some advice.

I have a small question, I recently had sex with my new partner,we were quite drunk and made the mistake of having vaginal sex ( but very briefly) straight after anal sex without any cleanup in between. It has been 2 days and I feel fine but I am panicking about infections as I have heard some horror stories !!
I am not sure if I should see my GP as a precaution or just wait and see how things go ?
    Thank you in advance

the body is an amazing thing. i'd say wait and see. i once read this profound quote that i like to repeat often:

"worry is a misuse of imagination"

I don't think there will be a problem but maybe warm salty water if you want to.

Thank you for your replies! It's such a taboo subject and it was the first time for me so was a little unsure !

It's not really a taboo these days in fact you hear about it too much.

You might be overthinking. Just see how things will go.

I would do some research about possible Healthy Douche's, maybe even call your Dr/ Nurse and ask about precautions from infection .

One must remember that Feces is what your Body deletes from it. Feces is a know Disease spreader.
Some may say this is an Overreacting Statement. But there are reasons one is told to wash their hands after a Bowel Movement. And even pregnant women are not to change Litter boxes, without gloves a long scoop and antibacterial hand cleansing, due to the disease toxoplasmosis .

If one chooses to participate in Anal, one should use Precaution, Condoms and at least a antibacterial wash.

I believe in Each to their own, live and let live.
But I for one would no more let someone's penis or finger or tongue or any object enter my anus anymore than I would take a spoon and directly eat feces or pick up Dog or Cat poop without a glove or scoop . **************** Shudders ****************

Of course when getting a anal/ colon service or check up, one must allow this. And especially then Dr's are very protective of themselves and the patient ..They sterilize their tools and hands and the surrounding area's to insure the spread of feces is extremely limited .

Think I'll go sterilize my whole body now, just from the thoughts .. Lol

My Anus is a One way Street .. Exit Only

I would just wait and see if you any symptoms arise. If you do start getting some symptoms then make an appointment, but until then just try relax.

My only suggestion is to look online for symptoms and see when you know you'll be in the clear. In the mean time, buy some disinfectant wipes, baby wipes, anything, and leave them by the bed. That way for next time, clean up is only a reach away.
