It seems like this is something he really wants. It may be the only way he likes oral. He is being nice about it. For his sake, I would put in the time and effort to learn to do this for him. There are few things that cannot be accomplished with enough practice. Relax your throat and breath through your nose, you might be tensing up. Good advice above. Curl your fingers to your thumb to make and 0 and put it up to your mouth. Then perform oral sex on him and it should feel more like deep throating... but still not exactly the same, he may like it though. Then every once in awhile actually try to deep throat him. As mentioned earlier, then say how big he is and that you can't fit him in.
