I've never agreed with the term "of color" when describing people. Most people have some color, with a person with albinism (of any ethnicity) having the least of pigmentation.

A dark colored vulva is possible with women of many different hues and shades. It may be less common to almost nonexistent amongst women of the lightest skin shades. However, some light skinned women will have a genetic background that gives them a dark colored vulva. I am not talking about someone who is unhealthy.

When you say black women, are you talking about talking about women with at least some African genetics or are you talking about a larger group that includes black to almost black skin tones that also includes southern Indians, Melanesians, Aborigines, some Indonesians, some Malaysians, some Thais, some Cambodians, etc.

Black as a color is also subjective. It could mean India Ink black or jet black or carbon black. Not many people would consider themselves as black using those standards and describing only skin tone. Usually a more relaxed standard is used when describing people.

I never much cared for the designs myself ...I think aesthetically the best is just a nice clean trim in the shape of a triangle, which is the most natural. Even a landing strip is a bit exotic really, always makes me think stripper. (btw, when I said V-shaped above, I actually meant triangle, not a literal V design - don't care for those either.)

I actually have to agree. I was thinking about if I had to choose one permanent style for my lady, this would be the one. She has been going completely bald there for and I started to get bored with it. My GF is growing it now, so I think I will recommend this to her when it's long enough. The hair grows real slow.

I actually shaved clean a few months ago just to try it for a change ....it was kind of exciting for a while but in the end I like my ▼. It should be a narrow one tho - not a landing strip but also nowhere near your crevices.

Well now they have a kit you can get to do your own Brazilian wax. My wife does her own the hair does not grow back for 4 to 6 weeks but once she gets all smooth. She will used a Bic razor in the shower every other day to keep it smooth and never have a problem with stubble and itching as well anymore. Plus she will use aloe over the area after her shower helps if there's any skin irritation.

Hygiene really isn't an issue, hair or no hair. If a woman has an unpleasant odor she either just finished a P90X workout and didn't shower or has a medical condition, most likely an infection, she needs to take care of. In Western societies we tend to over cleanse as it is. I work in an office all day sitting on my butt behind a computer, do I REALLY need to shower and deodorize every day? Not really, but I do. Of course it is also a matter of personal preference. Some people may not like the normal odor of a woman.

I know some women feel having a hairless pubic area makes them appear as a pre-pubescent girl and they don't like that, although they happily shave their arm pits and legs. I've always found this a bit baffling but that's the least of my bafflement when it comes to women! LOL.

Anyway, my personal preference...Hair free. Not because of hygiene, but I love the slipperiness when performing oral on a woman with no hair down South.

My wife been shaving her pubic hair plus her arm pit and legs and arms for well over 30 years. In no time did she ever remove the hair because it made her look pre-pubescent. It's a preference she likes and enjoys and it's not just only for my benefits only.
