I have never been on one of these boards but I was hoping for some help!
I am 22 and my boyfriend and I have been having sex for a couple months and nothing like this has happened before. Two days ago We were going at it "doggy style" and he must of went to deep..because I had this sharp extreme pain in my lower abdomen. We have done it this way before and never had a problem. Now tonight while we were having sex any position we were in was very uncomfortable and I had the intense sharp pains in my abdomen so bad we had to stop. He didn't even have to go deep for me to feel this pain.
I have been reading other people experiences about this but I am not sure what to think. Could he have bruised me?? Or broke something in there?? Please help!

I don't want to say that the pain you have is normal, but I have had the same pain and have read about other women having it too. For me it usually happens when my boyfriend and I do it in doggy style too but occasionally it happens in other positions. Usually it happens if he doesn't get me "ready" enough or if I'm ovulating (and bloated). I would say don't have sex for at least a couple of days and see if the pain goes away. (Make sure there isn't any bleeding, if there is I would definitely see a doctor ASAP because bleeding during/after sex isn't normal). But it is possible he could've bruised your cervix by going too deep in doggy. If that is the case, it should heal on its own within a few days to a week. It happens to me sometimes so this advice is purely from personal experience (I'm not a doctor or anything lol). Hope this helped!

Thank you! Makes me feel a little better knowing other women experience this too..no bleeding or anything abnormal except the pain. I just recently moves and thought about going to the doctor but what a first meeting right? Lol thank you
