What do you like about anal intercourse? How is it different from vaginal for you? Tighter, I imagine; more dirty in a pleasurable way. What don't you like? I am amazed (and glad) to hear that "missing out on one particular act wouldn't be that big a deal." Of course, vaginal intercourse is wonderful for many, and the epitome of "sex", and so I really deeply feel (perhaps wrongly) that someone having to give it up would be a big sacrifice. In my social group men very rarely talk about sex. This may be different in other social groups of course. To be honest, I was considering oral as an alternative (which I enjoy very much).

Anal is interesting: Years ago I was very interested in trying it, it was a subject of many fantasies. My wife agreed, and found that she enjoyed it a lot. Funny thing though, once the novelty wore off, my interest in it decreased and eventually while I still enjoy it, it wasn't anything special for me, and I was doing it (as opposed to other things) mostly for her. Eventually she got bored with it (maybe the same reason?) and we don't do it anymore. There may be many men who are attracted to new (and maybe "naughty") things. Anal really doesn't fell very different for men.

Of course given what I just wrote, maybe if I couldn't have vaginal sex I'd start to miss it. My wife doesn't like oral and we rarely do it - maybe that is why it seems appealing - an attraction to the forbidden / unavailable. Still if I were with someone I cared about and if we were intimate in other ways, it would not be a big deal to miss out on one thing. I'm very happy with my wife and our sex life even though I'm mostly "missing out" on oral.

Human sexuality is really strange - and I expect differs greatly from person to person.
