I'm 19. I've been masturbating since I was like 15 or 16. Within the past year I have not been able to get wet on my own at all. Completely dry. And lately I haven't even been able to get an orgasm. Any ideas to why this is happening? I am only 19 after all. I'm not on any meds and I've never had any sexual partners. I've only made out with a guy. This is really frustrating.

My first thought would be birth control, I had that problem with a few brands of BC. But if you're not on that, that is obviously ruled out.
Have you tried taking a break for a few days? Or maybe a new toy or material?
From personal experience, sometimes I would get bored with myself and couldn't get into it at all. So I wouldn't masturbate for a week or so and it would usually come back to normal as long as I wasn't overly stressed.

Have you had any sudden changes in your diet? Try staying properly hydrated. Avoid the use of beverages and red meat for the time being. Focus on vegetables, fruits. If it is an abrupt change please do consult with your gynecologist.Comment
