What's a bloke?

I think you make some good points Hesse. I never ask my husband if, when or what he masterbates to. I don't think it's my business. What goes on in someone's head is private and should stay there.

A bloke is the British/Aussie term of saying "dude". I think other commonwealth folks use the term as well, but not sure.

Not me. I'm happy with just one girl. I do look at other women but it's almost subconscious, like I'm attracted to their body without actually thinking about it. I'm not actively thinking about wanting to sleep with them though.

We men have been stroking the embers since we first sprouted hairs. Long before we even knew what sex was. Long before women came into our lives. And we'll be doing, long after the inevitable break up with any particular girl. So why WOULDN'T we do it?

Men have been masturbating since before women were in their lives? WHAT??? Most men are not like Romulus and Remus, suckled by a she wolf. They have women all through their lives and have plenty of opportunity to observe them and get attention from them. And considering a breakup inevitable is self fulfilling, it is a reason to not bond tightly which will lead to a breakup.

Women need to be honest with themselves about human nature: you can never, and will never, fully satisfy a man.

Maybe true for a man that was never in love, but not true for one totally in love with a woman of a giving nature. The fulfillment and completion cannot be comprehended by one who has never been there nor by one who has made the wrong choice.

A man has a sexual life that you will never, and can never, be a part of. Any man, if he is healthy, will look at any 18-30 year, attractive girl, and think thoughts you'd rather he wasn't thinking. Whether he's married. Whether that 18 year old is his daughters friend. Doesn't matter. He's thinking those thoughts. He won't act on them, because he's got a good deal with you (in fact, in most cases, he'll repressed them, because they are uncomfortable for him too).

Again, the in love thing. If a guy is in love, those lascivious thoughts are no longer in full color, rather a very faded black and white version. They not be there altogether as the object of them is no longer viewed sexually. That's not really suppressing the thoughts, rather they become as unimportant as most of the trivial thoughts that occur in our minds. Try this, try to have a guy recall the details of an extremely hot girl he saw or met only when he is totally in love with another one or even later when he is out of that relationship. He will not be able to recall the details because he never recorded them to long term memory. Anything he remembers will be faded. He will probably remember very well if he was not in love when he saw the hot girl.

However, other times, sex - with a women he have already had sex with - is a chore.

How much sex is or is not a chore depends on those having it. If one or the other or both are bored with it, yes it is a chore. However if neither is bored with it, it never becomes a chore.

A woman trying to stop a man viewing porn is as creepy as a man stopping a woman reading romance novels: a man cannot give a woman %100 romantic fulfillment, just as a woman cannot ever give a man %100 sexual fulfillment. It is foolish to even think you can.

I grew up in a time well before porn went mainstream with the internet. Porn was harder to get in those days. Yes, you could get magazines like Playboy (not really porn like today) sent to your home, but it left a trail of people knowing what you were doing. You could go to an adult book store, but those were only in large cities and were kind of creepy. Now, with the internet, people (including many of those too young to know what came before) think 24/7 porn is the natural state. They think that having porn is a constitutional right or it should be. Of course, they think communicating on the phone (24/7 or there about) is also a constitutional right and we see carnage in society from such beliefs every once in a while (mass accidents). Of course they also see these new "rights" also as natural rights given by the universe. This is part of the bigotry of youth, believing things never could have been different because they never experienced it or saw it themselves. Surprisingly, before all this porn, men and women would go to places to meet. Guys would come home frustrated and maybe masturbate, but many didn't have porn so they wouldn't masturbate to porn.

Men will appear on this page, and deny this. They will profess amusing tales of love at first sight etc. But they know, deep down, if a parallel world existed, where they could have the hot young brunette, and the hot young blonde, offered on a plate, and their wife/gf need ever know, then they sure would.

Again, this doesn't sound like it would come from someone who has been in love.
