    Hard Core Erotic Novels

The book section doesn't seem to get much interest so I thought I'd post this here.
Who reads them? Any specific Author or Genre?
Not talking shades of grey here, but the hardcore novels.

I used to read them often but now they're hard to find, before I order online I'd like so feedback of maybe specific authors that have been good?
Reading them and the fantasy that came with them helped with keeping my sex drive up, hoping it might be the spark I need again.

The Sleeping Beauty Trilogy by Anne Rice. I personally didn't care for it too much but I know people who love it. Its a hardcore retelling of Sleeping Beauty. Lots of BDSM. Complete fantasy. I didn't like it because it talks about this super hardcore stuff but won't ever use real anatomy words but stuff like "her womanhood". That drives me crazy. Also, it's complete fantasy, not realistic sexual situations of BDSM.

Story of O is a classic BDSM one. Again, I didn't care for it for the same reasons as above. But its been around a long time.

Becoming Sage by Kasi Alexander. I loved this book although there isn't as much graphic sex. Its more about this woman's introduction into the lifestyle and how she adapted to it. Much more realistic.

Except for the Story of O, the other 2 are on Kindle and you can get free samples before buying it.
Freedom is just another word for nothing left to lose - Kris Kristofferson and Fred Foster (sung by Janis Joplin)

Let's see my kindle has Black Dagger Brotherhood series by JR Ward which is vampires and has plenty of full on sex scenes with no bdsm. Fallen by Lauren Kate which starts off very slow with a bunch of teenage drama and so far doesn't have full on sex scenes so you may not find it interesting. Sons of Destiny by Jean Johnson which is a good romance series but not a whole lot of sex scenes. Definitely worth reading though. The Shifter also by Jean Johnson which is about shape shifters and has a few good sex parts. I wish she'd turned that one in to more of a series instead of only going to sons of destiny which is the same world but entirely different area with different rules. Then I have recommended to me and on my kindle but yet to read Fire and Frost by Meljean Brook and Carolyn Crane and Wild and Steamy by Carolyn Crane and Jill Myles.

Hi Caster - the genre of erotic romance is booming! I read them and also write them (under a different name) and the demand is huge. There's also some fantastic erotica out there (but quite a bit of ordinary writing as well).

The Anne Rice erotic stories are fabulous as are the Mammoth Books of Erotica -some truly fabulous writing in those. If you like some hot and heavy reading there's something for everyone at the moment from mildy hot to hardcore, vampires, werewolves, aliens, threesomes, and BDSM (as per 50 Shades). People may not admit they read it but sales figures show that they must be lol

As with any genre there's good and bad - but it's fun finding the good stuff
