Penis size - your realistic experience

First off, let me apologize for one more in the endless stream of size threads!

This is not a question of preferences or opinions but of your actual experiences. So often when penis size is discussed there is a lot of guesstimating, generalizing and exaggerating (intentionally and unintentionally). When surveys are responded to and people talk about their SO, DH, BF, EX, etc. there seems to be an unusually high percentage of men with larger than average penises.

So trying to be as realistic as possible, perhaps looking at a ruler or measuring your hand and then using that to make a mental comparison, what would you say was the average length and girth of the men with whom you have been intimate?

I think if men understood what women's realistic experiences were, perhaps instead of thinking they know better about what women want, they would feel more in line with reality and therefore in many cases, less insecure.

Myself, I think this topic has been discussed to death in the last couple of threads. There is nothing much new to add to this one. I'd suggest you do a search for this information because it's all in those posts. Just my opinion here. As with everything else it is a subjective question and would have no more basis in fact than any other statement made here previously and you would just get subjective answers.
That which we forget may as well never really happened.

I don't think most people would have a pool of sexual partners that would be large enough to consider a sample size. You'd have to be in the thousands for a reasonable expectation of useful data. Small sample sizes, like the number of partners ONE person will have had, are too easy to skew with one big (or one quite small) number.

Average is average. The actual number that average comes out as will change with the survey, but as I recall, most studies come up with between 5"-6" for an average, depending on the population being surveyed. If every woman on WH were to answer you, truthfully and accurately, you'd likely get a number in that range for a mean as well as median.

Look Bravo55: 99% of penises are between 5 & 7 inches when erect. Instead of dwelling on size start working on your insecurity in general (your overall confidence, your charm, your appearance, your attitude, your income, etc -women have much more interest in these things) then your penis will be exactly the right size to whoever you are with. If she has any doubts then you're with the wrong woman.

Can you post that as a new thread or in another thread

It would be nice to try to keep each OP's question to exactly that, their question for answers....

Though I think Little answered it well.

I also don't think I ever had expectations it's a bit like a candy box you know? They are full of some nuts and others are more mouth-watering but it's based on taste. And by that I mean chemistry...

I have moved some replies out of this thread, since they were not directed at OP's question, but rather to the generic topic of penis size. Please keep this thread on-topic and seek out any of the multiple active threads on penis size for related discussion.

What should go with a discussion on realistic experience with penis size is experiences by both men and women.

First, measuring approximate penis length is fairly easy unless you want an exact measurement. The hand as a measurement for the height of horses is considered to be 4 inches or about 10cm. So 1 1/2 of these is about 6 inches or 15cm. Some people have smaller hands or larger hands. Most women I would expect to have somewhat smaller hands. Understand how far off of the standard you are and you have an easy measuring device. Then measure from the body to the end along the top of the penis.

I have only had interactions with women, so I can only state what I have experienced as their reaction to my penis length and girth. Before I was married, I had maybe 20 something partners in total. At that time, I was about 6 inches in length and about 6 inches in girth. I am much older and heavier now, so the effective length has decreased. For the most part I have not had any reaction about length or girth. I can remember one time of a girlfriend telling her friend that she thought I was big by circling her wrist with her thumb and forefinger. I've never had a negative comment or reaction.
I have but one lamp by which my feet are guided, and that is the lamp of experience.
              ...
Shall we gather strength by irresolution and inaction? Shall we acquire the means of effectual resistance by lying supinely on our backs and hugging the delusive phantom of hope, until our enemies shall have bound us hand and foot?

Hi Bravo - maybe I can shed some light on your question. My partner and I are swingers and over the years I've been lucky enough to enjoy the 'company' of many, many men. From all of them I'd say the percentage of 'large' penises is around maybe 5%. The percentage of small (either short or thin) would be maybe 20% and the rest are average. My very best experiences have been with average.

From a personal perspective I don't like 'big'. It doesn't leave any room to manoevre during oral and the same for penetration. Not a fan. But then I'm definitely not a fan of 'thin' either. There are 'size queens' who say they love a biggy but as my best 'size queen' friend found, when she met the man of her dreams his 'average' was perfection). Unless you're one extreme or the other, I'd stop worrying. With the right woman it won't matter.

Excellent post. These kind of stats are exactly what I'm looking for.

What would you consider in that 5% large range? Over 7"? Over 8"?

What would you consider in that 20% smaller range? Less than 5"? Less than 4"?

Obelisk, you are fixated on "size" to the point where I would think you may need some professional assistance to get your mind off of a one or two inch difference in penis sizes. In my opinion your obsession with this is not healthy and you would well be served by getting help. I am saying this with all the kindness that I can. It's not healthy. Please consider getting professional help with this. It seems to be driving your days and your mind. You need to be able to focus on other aspects of relationships and yourself.
