Is it bad I don't orgasm during intercourse?

I don't think my fiance is incapable of making me orgasm as it feels like I've come fairly close to it with him, but I have never orgasmed during intercourse.

It doesn't bother me personally because I still enjoy it and I like it when he does, but I think it sometimes bothers my fiance. Sometimes he tries hard to make me orgasm and he thinks he's made me when I'm really wet, but I don't feel like I have. I have orgasmed from clitoral masturbation, but never during intercourse or foreplay. It's as if I can't get to it, or my fiance doesn't last long enough to make me orgasm.

Is it such a bad thing that I can't orgasm during intercourse or foreplay?

You're perfectly normal. Less than 30% of women reach orgasm from intercourse alone. Try some positions which allow you to reach your clitoris yourself. Doggy style would work. You could also try the "T" where you lye on your back with your knees pulled back and he enters you while on his side at a 90 degree angle. If these don't work you could pleasure yourself to orgasm in front of him before or after intercourse. That should please him and give you some release as well. Have fun!

It may take a while for you to learn how to have an orgasm during intercourse, and it may take your guy a while to learn how best to help you.

Generally speaking, the man is stimulated just by being in a woman's vagina, but a woman's clitoris doesn't automatically get that same kind of stimulation from intercourse. Your fiance and you both may need to experiment with aligning your bodies so his penis gives you the stimulation you need. It's also possible that based on your sizes and shapes, that won't work all that well, so either you or he will need to rub your clitoris during intercourse. You'll also need to find a good position for that. Make sure there is plenty of lubrication if you do that, either your natural wetness or artificial lube.

Since the guy gets stimulated just by being in your vagina, usually the trick is to slow his orgasm down while speeding the woman's up. My man and I have been having sex for years and we still have problems with this sometimes. We generally find he can last longer when we use positions where he can relax physically and in which my vagina puts less pressure on his penis, such as when we lie side-by-side or when I kneel on top. That gives me more time to get there.

One good exercise to learn how to have an orgasm during sex is to giver yourself an orgasm during foreplay and let your fiance watch and learn how you do it. Then have him try to give you one in the same way during foreplay. Once you can do that, you can have him try it while you're having intercourse.

      HTH,

I've never experienced an orgasm through penetration alone. I'm just not wired that way. I don't miss it though maybe because I don't know what I'm missing, lol. Phil and shoshannah gave good advice. Take time with him to try different ways to make it work, but there's nothing wrong with having your turn either before or after him.

Every woman is different. Before I met my boyfriend, I could only orgasm via sexual thoughts in my head. Now I orgasm every time we have sex. Try lying on your stomach with him entering from behind.

That position works very well for my wife as well. Surprised it doesn't seem more common.

I believe this is a fact but for some reason it has not been my experience. I have only had relations with one women who did not orgasm from penetration but we only had sex maybe 4 times. My current GF gets off easy with clit stim but take some time to cum with penetration. The first 3 or 4 she only cam with clit stim. Finger or oral work great and she hits the roof. Once she did cum with penetration I seemed break the barrier sort of speak. What I thought was a shy sexually reserved woman turned out to be a very open minded women in this area. She bi curious and we have had a handful of threesomes (I never threesomes before her) so in my recent experience all these woman have cum from penetration and clit stim. I wonder how much the mind has to do with this.

                Becca,

Very few women achieve orgasm during intercourse, & only in a couple positions. That's why men have to learn skills. Before intercourse you ought to have at least a few orgasms.
