    love sex war

every relationship has some type of sexual problems i assume. i've been knocking this around in my head for awhile now. i am a first time user of this site trying to get some logical answers/opinions.... i have been in a relationship going on 3 years. the first 14 months were ultimately amazing. hot and passionate to the fullest. 1 to 3 times daily we would (well you know). and im not lying, every day. if it wasnt intercourse, because of my time of the month, i would take care of him in another manner. and he would me as well. on the 15th month being together i started not wanting it as much. well guess what happened it was like ''taking candy away from a baby. you take something away from someone that loves something so bad and used to getting it every single day, theres going to be a problem. he didnt say much about it at first. but after the first month it was really weighing on him. so he threw this at me """ so was this your plan, come into my life all hot and passionate until you wrapped me around your finger , then just turn it off like a light switch, when you decide your safe '' in my house"". is that what women do or is it just you he said. me; im sure all of us ladies have done this before. so i need your answers/opinions on this please, because im going through hell now for it.

So, your sex drive decreased that dramatically in a month's time and hasn't returned in a year or more? So, how often did it decrease to?
Just want to make sure I have the timeline correct.

uh oh. someone forgot to close the screen. I am the fiance. but what she stated was true. here is my point. And ladies i want you to answer this honestly. we were hot and heavy sexually for the first 14 months and then, what she failed to mention is that she called the relationship off. without any warning to me whatsoever. we were split for about a week and a half, then she wanted me to come back to her. so i did. when i came back i learned she had gone out with someone else during that time. so with that being said, how we were our first 14 months was incredible but when i came back it was like a total 360. hardly any sex at all. (by the way, she is watching me write this now.) this has been going on like this since oct 2012. so figure my frustration.

You guys need to talk, but maybe not in front of zillions of people on the internet.

Ignoring the past, what do each of you want now? Is there an amount of sex you are both happy with? Now that you are together again is the rest of your relationship happy?

Hm ...no offense but you and your fiance/e have remarkably similar writing styles.

For the gf: I think you need to start being very honest with yourself first. You can get feedback and advice from strangers, but at the end of the day, you're alone with yourself and probably already know the answer to this issue.

For the bf: you've stayed another year, which leads me to believe you're accepting of the decreased sexual activity? I'm not sure I understand what "frustration" you mean.

You both need to have a talk like rcoreyus said. It's good to seek the thoughts of others and usually wise to do so, but you two are obviously neither honest nor communicating effectively to build your relationship. Until you do that, you cannot expect your problems to be helped or solved by strangers on the web.
