I guess I don't get the "choice" part...the way I read it, you give one option. Am I to assume the other choice is to NOT?

I read it that way at first too, but I guess the first paragraph is just the setting. The choices are "bang that" or read the novel. If that helps.

Well 5 years ago I planned to just have random sex and short term relationships for life. Then I got married. Average guy, average job. No kids though.
