It is very very common simply because it is more difficult for a woman to orgasm, it is not just touch and explode, and it is not always a guaranteed thing. Women are not all about physical reactions like men are, women are more emotional and more concerned about the feeling of attachment to the person she is having sex with. This make the actual orgasm less important than the emotions that are experienced during a sex session.

Ok so if you had to choose between emotionally satisying sex without orgasms and emotionally satisfyin sex with orgasms, you'd pick the one with orgasms right?
