Some fathers are more involved in parenting. Is it really a matter of size?

An article has been floating around about the relation of men's testicle size and
how much effort men put into being dads. According to this research, smaller
    testicles make better fathers.

Is there large enough difference in men's testicle size, for women to actually
know if their partner has smaller or bigger.

Does anybody know from experience if this is true?

In my opinion, smaller testicles "could" means less sperm or longer sex. If and I say if this is the case a child would mean the world to a man whom has tried for a while and not succeeded due to sperm count. Does that make him a better Father, I can't fathom that, a good Father is one full of love for his child.

I think personally I would say this is false there are no statistics that verify this if there are, then I would like to see the same.

This is the most ridiculous claim I have heard.

Does larger breasts make for a better mother?

I am going to assume this "research" was presented in a humor magazine or a less than legitimate source such as Cosmo?

Like many other research, correlation doesn't equal to causation. I know this research. It's just one. You need tons to make any true hypothesis. Plus you don't know if being a father lead to the smaller testicles or smaller testicle men became better fathers.

I would think the smaller testicles leading to less sperm which requires more effort to get pregnant it is more likely that the condition is a result of less sex hormones. With less sex drive there would be less need for certain things that distract parents from their kids or break up marriages for other relationships. However the whole idea is really unscientific with little if any backing. Like mentioned correlation does mean causation. It also doesn't mean the men had smaller than average testicles when they started the relationship. It could be that in order to improve parenting men with a strong bond to their children ended up creating less sex hormones and the testicles shrank a tiny amount. There just isn't enough info to do anything but blindly hypothesize. It could even just all be coincidence with their study group.

Generally true in the animal kingdom - smaller bollocks (relative to size) are a sign of mammals that spend more time with the family -ie lions have smaller testicles than tigers
