I appreciate the concern. It's why we never use implements and have safe words and actions (her nails on the underside of my wrist). I'm such a wuss that I always check in with her (which I'm sure kills some of the fantasy for her) and rarely use the pressure she wants. But it works for us.

but the other day a mate set me a link to a clip on a porn site, where a woman was giving 2 guys HJ's and she would stroke them for 5-10 seconds then with her other hand literally punch them in the balls!!. she alternated between guys so it wasn't the same guy getting punched in the balls!
the guys winced in pain when she punched their balls, but they both still maintained their erections.
it was painful to watch, but I couldn't stop watchnig it either!

Reading about ball slapping here makes me wince. Sounds like a form of torture to be meted out in a concentration camp. Think I'll pass.

The spanking thing obviously holds broad appeal. Lost on me I am afraid. It's a regular feature on porn and, to me, has always seemed like one of those things that differentiates porn from real life. The usual image on porn is the man, while performing intercourse doggy style, periodically delivers to the woman a smarting whack on a butt cheek. It's a clear form of battery, but, apparently, consensual.

I'll ask my wife, but it seems to me that if ever I did that to her, I'd be out on my butt in a nanosecond. I just cannot imagine why I would do such a thing. Even if I were asked (and I cannot imagine what would motivate such a request) I am quite sure I could not bring myself to do it. I know doggone well being the spankee would kill the mood and make me more than just a bit annoyed. Just another one of those areas in which I am out of the mainstream.

Love and hate are said to be close relatives in the human brain. To me, if I could strike someone during lovemaking, it would be an indicator of some dark, latent hostility. If not, how could I possibly do that? To me, the idea of inflicting pain on the one you love is so antithetical to love as to be beyond comprehension. That probably sounds totally weird to many here, but, as my daddy used to say, "Don't be so concerned about what others think".

Baboy, it makes me "wince" when I think about it as well. The trick is for her to do it when you don't expect it. Then you are not anticipating pain (which is worse than the pain). Each slap is less uncomfortable than the last. Now when she has them in her hands I just never know what she is going to do. Makes me feel helpless

Jen, cruelty from her turns me on.

If that means I like being humiliated, not really... Lol.

The general definition would include humiliation, but in your case I meant pain.

That's a bit harsh and judgmental, Baboy. It has nothing to do with love and hate -- just the combination of pain and pleasure. There is no question that the two people being intimate love each other. For some people, a bit of pain tends to heighten the pleasure. For example, a woman with long nails digging them into or raking your back as she orgasms. Does she hate you? Hardly. For some men, the pain combined with the pleasurable sensation of intercourse might send them right into an orgasm. How about a BJ where your partner puts an ice cube in her mouth and alternates between hot and cold. The two sensations, one perhaps a bit painful, can be explosive. None of this should be "incomprehensible", even if its not your thing.

I get that the pain and pleasure thing does not appeal to everyone but it has nothing to do with porn. Each of us has a different path (or many paths) to pleasure. So long as both consent and no one is really getting hurt, go forth and have fun. We are all entitled to our opinions . . . it's the labeling and judgments that offends.

You could say that the very nature of penetrative sex is sort of assault-like in itself (putting something into a body orifice is not really a generally welcome idea), so I think we need to be careful about making judgments. Likewise there's a scale ....regular doggy style for example that's done vigorously can seem violent and like an attack. I don't think it's really safe to say that any form of aggressiveness whatsoever in sex risks being hostile. That said, I don't think Baboy was really condemning anybody, just stating his feelings.

                      I know right?

Patti, there's also the appeal of just giving up control, which I think is moreso Something's thing than anything else.
