    Am I doing anal incorrectly?

I need some help guys. In the bedroom, I consider myself to be adventurous, daring, even. I love this about myself and enjoy exploring my boundaries. However, every time I've try anal, I've had to stop because of the pain. It's sharp, intense and burns and it only seems to start after my boyfriends finger is half in. Now we use lube and go incredibly slow, but it always happens. I really want to experience anal, but if I can't find a way around the pain, I think I'll just have to give up. Help?

A burning sensation doesn't sound normal. General discomfort is to be expected at the start until you get used to it, but it sounds like you've been at this a while and had no better luck? Starting slow and using tons of lube is a must but it sounds like you've got that covered too.

It may just not be for you hon. You could still have him do analingus tho and skip the penetration - feels great and no pain.

Could you have a bad reaction to that particular lube?

Well Gentlelime you could be suffering from hemorrhoids that will give you a burning feeling and not good to keep going with anal. Like Jenn is saying maybe just stick with analingus that can very pleasurable as well.
When out driving always turn left. Then, should you become lost, you can find your way home by reversing the procedure and always turning right.

For penetrative anal sex to successful, first you have to be totally relaxed, body and mind, anal foreplay is a must from your partner, both fingers and tongue, when I say your mind needs to be relaxed, that means you need to clear your mind of what’s about to happen, if not your anus muscles will start to clinch up, and that’s the last thing you want to happen to happen.

And yes always remember lube lube lube.

As for the burning sensation, your B/F finger night not be completely clean, also, if this is your first time trying full penetration, try it in a spooning position. Also while he's going in, you'll want to be pushing out.

Not sure what would cause burning unless it's coming from stretching of tissue, but being slow and lube should ease that. For position, try girl on top so you're the one in control of depth of penetration, timing etc. It takes more than one time to bc accustomed to all the sensations that go with anal. Good luck.

Get checked for hemorrhoids, really. For some reason, when thinking about anal sex, people tend to forget that they are actually really common among a population over 30 years old. I dont mean huge, super painful, need operation or medication hemorrhoids, but their initial don't really realize they are there stage, unless of course, you want to have anal sex. Hemorrhoids are kind of like cavities in this sense.

There is a great guide to anal sex by Nina Hartley. I will strongly advise you read the book or watch the video first. Refrain from any anal activity until you have had a check up for any abrasions or internal possible micro wounds. Always use gloves when experimenting first and don't forget that lubrication is a must for anal to be pleasurable. Use water based lubes. There is an anal kit for starters from good adult toy outlets where you have anal plugs of varying sizes to help you get used to the intrusions gradually. Try that initially. Good luck and happy experimenting.

Yes very good idea many people forget about this but your so right. Not good to be into this type of sexually play if your partner is suffering from hemorrhoids can be very painful and could start bleeding better to stay away from this area then.
