Yes Patti, i agree with many on here. You help me a few months ago another site as I thank you for that. Let others help you out as well you are a very kind and sweet lovely women so don't go because of one person. You may not -- but I hope that you are working at a place that gives you career satisfaction. I am certainly not saying that love is not a good reason to change goals and jobs. But if you are not happy, then your relationship will eventually suffer.

All relationships require mutuality to survive. Patti -- her satisfaction and career -- is just as important as her GF. We all make sacrifices and should for our partners. My point is that there should be a way for both partners to have a satisfying relationship and advance their career.

You are BOTH important. I am sure that she feels the same about you. This is something I would say to my daughter -- grow together, don't stunt your own growth for anyone. As I wrote, there are ways to become more marketable so the two of you can reach your goals together.

It was a very kind and selfless act, Patti. Money may not be the motivation in your life, but you also need job satisfaction. Working in a pub in summer is not nearly as satisfying to you as ski instructing all year round. Love is great reason to move back now, but you should consider a long term strategy. Maybe your GF can upgrade her skill set where you are now (ie classes) to be more employable in Colorado at the next opening.
