    Allergic to men's cum

I heard some of my female co-worker talking today and one of them was talking about how she was up late on last night because she had to take one of her girlfriends to the emergency room because she was broken out and had some burning down there after having sex.She was saying that the doctor told her that she was having a allergic reaction to her guy's sperm.
Is that true. Can a woman have a allergic reaction to a man's cum? If so,How could that be when it's all natural stuff? and comes out of him.Are there any women here like that? or do you know anyone who are? Thanks

What if you finally met the love of your life — and discovered you were allergic to them?
It happened to Clara and Jeff (names changed), a North Carolina couple who encountered an unusual problem: she was allergic to his semen, a condition known as seminal plasma hypersensitivity.
The couple, both 35 and now married, shared their story with ABC's Good Morning America in hopes of raising awareness about the affliction, which is estimated to affect 20,000 to 40,000 women in the U.S., though some experts feel it is more common.
The first time they were intimate, "I had this bizarre reaction," said Clara. "I had burning and swelling and redness, which was very unusual. I thought I had contracted an STD [sexually transmitted disease]."
The swelling took 24 hours to subside, Clara said, and her skin felt "almost raw" and "as if you'd put a chemical on it that caused it to burn."
Doctors were unable to pinpoint the cause of her symptoms, and the newlyweds' sex life suffered. They spent 10 months avoiding most sexual contact.
"In a normal romantic relationship, you want to feel attractive to your partner and want to do things that make you feel sexy," Clara told ABC. "I feel like we actually started to define ourselves — minimizing things to avoid sex. Funny, I started thinking I wouldn't wear sexy underwear. ... What seemed like medical problems had bigger effects."
Finally, after some online research, they contacted Jonathan Bernstein, MD, an allergy and immunology expert at University of Cincinnati who is considered the top expert in the condition.
Semen allergies are "not common like asthma, but more than people realize," Bernstein told ABC.
Semen allergies are usually treated by identifying which of the proteins in the man's semen are causing the woman's allergic reaction, then using a desensitization process to build up tolerance.
To treat Clara and Jeff, dilutions of Jeff's seminal fluid were administered via a syringe at regular intervals over two hours. The couple were instructed to then have sex within 12 hours.
The treatment seemed to help. Clara reported "a small amount of swelling, but compared to previous times, it was much less."
According to seminalplasmaallergy*****, a site maintained by Bernstein, people with seminal plasma hypersensitivity may experience any or all of the following symptoms up to 60 minutes after intercourse: hives, soft tissue swelling, chest tightness, shortness of breath, wheezing, diarrhea, dizziness or loss of consciousness.
More common causes of skin and tissue irritation from sex include sensitivity to latex in condoms or chemicals used in spermicides, lubricants or other personal care products.
Since their initial treatment, Clara and Jeff are able to have sex — and enjoy it — on a more regular basis.
"I think psychologically, we are back to a sense of normalcy," Jeff told ABC.
