Last Sunday when I woke up next to my GF we cuddled for an extended period of time (maybe 45 min to an hour while with my morning wood lol) and then made love. I say "love" because this was not just sex. There were no gimmicks (like ball hitting). It was genuine love making, and it was amazing.
The only thing is, right when I woke up I could feel my breath was kickin' something fierce! I usually don't have a morning breath issue, but for whatever reason I did this past Sunday. I didn't even have to smell it. I just knew it was going to smell bad. So from waking up til the end of our love making (which was almost 2 hours combined with the cuddling) I kept my mouth closed and only breathed through my nose to ensure she could not smell anything. I did not say a word to my GF nor did I open my mouth to kiss her (unless I was around her veejay since, in that area, my mouth would be far from her nose). If I smiled at her, then I did so in a manner that did not show teeth. It wasn't until we were done that I went to brush.
For those of you that make love after waking up, do you brush first then return to the bed? Do you keep a mint/gum next to you just incase? Do you just keep your mouth close and breath through your nose? Do you think any one practice is very unromantic?
I personally thought that going to brush right after waking up would have disrupted the flow of things. I feel like when someone next to me wakes up and gets out of bed in the morning that they take something with them; some mysterious energy that does not seem to make it back to the bed when they return.
What do you guys think/do? Curious to know everyone's approach. I am going to guess a lot of you would brush and then return to bed?
