    The 10 Rules of Swinging

    Rules for Swinging:

    1. Talk.....Talk.....Talk.....with your spouse/significant other

    2. Make rules and follow them.

    3. Do nothing behind the back of your spouse/significant other.

    4. Make sure that you and your spouse/significant other knows exactly how far the other is allowed to go. Is oral OK? How about kissing? Is intercourse all right?

    5. Condoms.......Condoms.....Condoms. Did I mention that condoms are not an option?

    6. Condoms..... Condoms......Condoms. I didn't want anyone to forget this rule.

    7. Explain up front your ground rules to your prospective partner before you get "hot and heavy." Make sure he/she agrees to the rules.

    8. If your intimate partner for the moment breaks any rule immediately stop. No second chances.

    9. It's not adultery if your spouse/significant other approves. No guilt allowed.

    10. Enjoy yourself! If you normally moan during an orgasm with your spouse then moan when you orgasm with your intimate partner.

One other thing that isn't a rule but needs to be discussed is what if there is a condom malfunction? You both need to discuss this before it happens (and it will). Since I was on birth control pills I wasn't worried about a pregnancy but STDs. The few times a condom broke inside of me I insisted that my partner and I get an STD test (at my expense). If he refused then I would get the test on my own but let the man know he was banned and I would see to it that he was never invited to any party again and spread the word about his reckless behavior. I never had a man refuse to get the STD test done. And since they were always good sports I always bought them lunch after the test.

Yikes! A lot. Since 1988 when we started I've been intimate with 156 men. I keep a tally sheet with names and basic information just in case there is an issue with an STD or, worst case scenario, a pregnancy. I did take a break when my daughters were born though.

          Woo-hoo! You go girl.

Ha, interesting that you've kept track down to the single digits.

If she had all 156 guys sorted from awesome to least awesome would also be interesting.

Sometimes I read posts on here and they'll make me wonder if I'm living life lol.

You are living a great life with a great GF. Everyone has a different perspective on what makes life fulfilling . . . you and SAGF have found other ways to have both a fulfilling sex life and emotional life in a monogamous relationship. Not everyone needs 156 notches on the bedpost to find fulfillment or happiness. Just one person's opinion.

Believe it or not most men are the same when it comes to sex. Sure some have better bodies, different penis sizes and shapes, but with 156 different men that I've had inside of me on average they are the same. Yes I've had some big time duds and a few have taken my breath away but most of the time it goes like this: foot rubs, foreplay, intercourse, orgasm, the afterglow, getting dressed. I'm very vanilla when it comes to sex. I know what I want and I tell the man what I expect.

Well Natalie very good rules to live by, It's good you have rules you have set for your self and husband together I like that. Now if I can ask a somewhat a personal question. If husband said he doesn't want to swing any longer would you stop as well or if you wanted to stop would husband join you in your decision.

Wow you are really organized Natalie, I meant a few swingers just talking with them. They couldn't tell me how many partners they have had not even close but a whole lot was the answer lol.
