Too Wet???
Hi, I'm 39 yrs. old and I've been happily married for 13 years. My problem is that whenever my husband and I have sex I get too lubricated. I really don't think it has to do with arousal. At times, even when I'm not that aroused I just get too wet. It's so bad that neither one of us feel anything and we cannot orgasm. I've posted on other forms and all I keep hearing is that I am very lucky because as I get older I will dry out. I am not looking to hear that right now. I do not want to be rude. Does anybody have a solution for this problem? I don't want to wait 20 years until I am 60 years old before I can enjoy sex with my husband. Constantly wiping myself with tissues and my husband has expressed his concern with not being able to enjoy sex as much as he'd like to. Please help! Thanks. -
Have you spoken with your gynecologist about this? They are probably your best resource.
I've seen posts about this before and I'm a little puzzled as to what problem it causes. Does it lessen the friction or cause the penis not to stay inside?
I ask because, I am not vastly experienced but, men always commented to me that more lube, whether natural or artificial, is better. So I often wonder if it's an issue with size and fit, rigidity, or with the strength of muscles in the vagina.
Just thinking out loud. I would start with your doc. -

There's no friction. I have 4 kids but they were all c-sections and his size is average. It's so slippery that I don't feel him in me and vice-versa. So frustrating. The older I get the worse it gets!

I know that some African cultures practice dry sex. I don't know the details, but I know that it can be painful and cause damage. But maybe some of what they do would work for you.
Also, I do understand the issue. When things get really wet and slippery you can't feel as much."Those sowing seed with tears
Will reap with a joyful shout." - Psalm 126Comment

is this a new problem? were both of you orgasming easily from intercourse in the past?Hi, I'm 39 yrs. old and I've been happily married for 13 years. I'm having the same issue.... when we start having sex everything is fine I'm naturally lubricated enough to be enjoyable.
I usually orgasm 2-3 times everytime we have sex but over the last few months I orgasm once and obviously get a bit more lubricated, but then when I'm almost at my second climax I get so wet that I can't feel anything and my orgasm goes. I get so wet that there's a wet patch on the bed and even if we stop to 'dry off'... as soon as we start again and I'm almost there it does it again and it's really starting to annoy me!
I'm 32 and I'm being tested for PCOS and early menopause as since having my fourth baby (who is now 3) I haven't had a period so I'm wondering if this is why it's happening, but it's only been like this for about 4 or 5 months. I will mention it to my doctor next time I go but did you find a solution even if it's only temporary??
