    vaginal warts

I have been wondering about vaginal warts, what can anybody tell me about this topic?
I had them when I was a teenager, now I am twice the age I was when I did have them and had them removed. In that time and untill now, I have had two kids, I had pre-cancer cells on my cervix and had laser surgery on my cervix twice now to get rid of the cancer causing cells. Do they come back (warts), are they always there? Is that why I have pre-cancer cells? What can I do about it? Is it a major concern?

I have you same story too.

It is my understanding that like 2/3 of the general adult population is carrying some sort of the 36 strains of warts that exist. And I've never had them truely reoccur after the first time either.

I was so emabrrassed and scared when I did have then when I was younger, and me too, (thank god) havent came back, but I dont too much about it. Am I a carrier? And its very common when I read the other quotes. Do you tell every sexual partner " when I was 17 I found out I had vaginal warts", "but hey, I've been good ever since"?????

Thats a really good question bubbles, there is also that if it does not come back how are you really going to remeber 5 years from now? I mean you will always know and remember but in every day it wont come up.

I don't know tons about this topic, but can't HPV cause vaginal warts? know that HPV causes the cancerous and pre-cancerous cells during paps that need to be removed.

I think it is a concern, especially if you're going to be sexually active with more than one partner, because if it is HPV and you give it to a man, he's virtually asymptomatic. And then he spreads it, etc and so on.

Maybe the doctor can test you and let you know exactly what it is. This way you'll know if you have to let the cat out of the bag with future partners.

You don't need to have intercourse to pass HPV to someone, either. That's another reason I'd have a doctor check.
