    FBW --

I suggest you google a webmd article entitled "Can Medicine Boost Female Sex Drive?". There are a few drugs in clinical trials to increase a woman's libido. The article suggests, as jns has thoughtfully explained, that a drug may not be effective or even desirable for women. The drugs will make a fortune for the drug companies who develop them. This is not a conspiracy against women.

I do think more research should be done in this area. I don't understand it either, why is it harder to find help for women. It doesn't seem to be a priority.

I think there's evidence to make a case for the lack of research for women's issues in several areas of medicine, but as effy says, it's not a conspiracy, in my opinion. Are you interested in that as our primary topic of discussion or getting help through other's suggestions or support for your own issues with it?

I am interested in all aspects of the conversation. All facets of it are interesting, as well as helpful. I like to hear others opinions- on the lack of research as well as suggestions to help.
