I just thought it was something that I enjoyed. I didn't know there was actually a name for it. My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this accidently. He is a boob man and after a bit, milk came in. We both absolutely love it and maintain it. It is both very erotic for the both of us and very fulfilling for me in a nurturing sense.

It seems to me that this frightens some people. I am just beginning an anr with a woman who enjoys this above all other forms of foreplay. It is a lifestyle decision. I will love nursing at my woman's breasts, 3 or 4 times a day. we will lie in the bed facing one another, and without going into too much detail, I will begin licking and sucking and eventually latch on. This will lead to about a half hour to an hour on each breast, and at the end it could lead to lovemaking or not. My woman is a student, and often I'll just lay across her lap on the couch and nurse at her breast while she studies. While you guys might feel this is a little threatening, it's actually empowering. When I'm away from my I will long for her breasts. Don't get me wrong, I'm all man, and have no desire to participate in things infantile. This is just something that we enjoy, and will continue to enjoy as long as we live. The only problem with this, is if we have children, there will be about a 3-4 month time where I can't nurse while she is pregnant, and of course my child will come first as far as nourishment will be concerned. There are other things to do in order to express my love for her, but this is what we enjoy the most. If you think it's possible you might like it, give it a try, when it works, it is one of the most beautiful experiences a couple can have. If it doesn't work for you, you can always stop, and go back to what you were doing. For those of you who haven't tried it, and won't, you'll never know what you're missing.

my hubby is definitely a boob man and I love it when he suckles, it is definitely a sexual thing for us and we both enjoy it immensly (I breastfed my daughter and nothing sexual there). my question is: is there any hope for a woman in the mid 40's (post hysterectomy) to produce milk?

also, I took a look at the milk and honey website and will admit that I was turned off completely at the "story" of a woman offering her breasts to friends...imho something like this should be between the couple only

          starting to play...

After reading of the posts on here, I brought it up to my GF and she loves the idea of me suckling onto her breasts. i guess you can say she's been wanting this and loves the idea of me on her breasts. We have been doing this for a week now and we have gotten so into it. She now asks me to suckle on her and sometimes in the morning when we wake up or i'll ask her if i can before bed and she absolutley loves it and completely gets aroused by me doing it and watching me do it. We looked into it further and she is really interested in inducing lactation and wants me to feed from her breasts. This is all so interesting to me and it arouses so much the more we open up to eachother and communicate about it. I can't wait to see where this goes. Any suggestions from any exprienced couples who share this for beginning this kind of play?

            Just my two cent's worth

            Hi all,

I see this subject come up from time to time on various web chats and blogs. And the responses are almost always the same. Someone, (usually bashfully) brings the subject of adult breastfeeding and at first, you usually get a few people think it's either arre or perverted. I have read everything from people calling those who are involved in this as mentally ill or even dangerous. Then, you get the folks who think that it's just a fetish or maybe a little kinky. Oh, then the "open minded" people who say something like, "Well, as long as you're not hurting anybody, or if the woman doesn't mind," like this is just something to please their mate.

There are a few things that everyone should consider concerning this subject. First of all, there are a number of benefits for women who breastfeed their husbands.

            Medical Benefits
1-Women who breastfeed have much lower rates of certain cancers (breast, ovarian, uterine, and endometrial) as well as a reduced risk of osteoporosis.
2-Breastfeeding encourages uterine contractions after childbirth, returning the uterus to it's pre-pregnancy size much faster. It has been shown that the uteruses of formula feeding mothers sometimes never return to the pre-pregnancy state.
3-Breastfeeding also: Boosts prolactin (a hormone that enhances feelings of nurturing and contentment) levels, speeds up post-partum weight loss and helps child spacing.
4-Current research confirms that as long as a woman is fully or nearly fully breastfeeding, and has not resumed menstruation, she has a less than 2% risk of becoming pregnant. Family planners know this method as Lactational Amenorrhea Method (LAM). In areas of world where artificial contraception is unaffordable, unavailable or unacceptable, breastfeeding provides a woman with an effective means of family planning. Source: WABA World Breastfeeding Week Action folder 1995 "Breastfeeding: Empowering Women"

            Emotional Benefits
1-Breastfeeding stimulates a women's body to produce prolactin and oxytocin, the "mothering hormones" (Prolactin helps you feel relaxed, loving, and calm. Prolactin levels can increase 10-20 fold within 30 minutes of beginning a nursing session)
2-Breastfeeding provides extra closeness that helps you and your husband bond and develop greater intimacy.
3-Breastfeeding provides comfort during extreme stress, illness or pain.

And just because this activity is just now becoming more common in todays society, that has not always been the case. It might just surprise most people to know that during Biblical times, maintaining what is now called an ANR or Abult Nursing Relationship throughout a marriage was the norm instead of the exception to the rule. As a matter of fact, it was advocated by Solomon, who the Bible calls "The wisest man who ever lived," as the best way for a man to avoid cheating on his spouse.

            Proverbs 5 (NLT)
18 Let your wife be a fountain of blessing for you.
Rejoice in the wife of your youth.
19 She is a loving deer, a graceful doe.
Let her breasts satisfy you always.
May you always be captivated by her love.
20 Why be captivated, my son, by an immoral woman,
or fondle the breasts of a promiscuous woman?

And let me add that the original word in Hebrew that was translated as "satisfy" was "ravah" pronounced "raw-vaw" literally means; to slake the thirst (occasionally of other appetites):--bathe, make drunk, (take the) fill, satiate, (abundantly) satisfy, soak, water (abundantly).

Does anybody know why the plain old man on top, position of intercourse is called, "The Missionary Position?" It's because many years ago, in Africa, the indigenous natives were only practicing the "Rear entry" or what is often called, "Doggy Style." And for thousands of years, that was all they were familiar with. Probably, it was because that's how almost all other mammals have intercourse. But when Christian missionaries started ministering to and living with the natives, the natives started to spy on these strange newcomers during their private times. And when the natives started to gossip among themselves about how they had witnessed these strange people doing it face to face, before long everybody was trying "The Missionary Way." And, probably because they could now see into each other's eyes and hug and kiss all at the same time, it now created a closer and more intimate bond during lovemaking.

The point that I'm really trying to make is this, just because it may seem different to you, you shouldn't knock it untill you've given it a fair chance.

I loved your post...I have plans to lactate in the coming year..It can be done with a double electric pump..don't try it with a manual..it takes to long..You can help the milk come in with supplements found online, they have Goat's Rue and More Milk Plus. Your partner will be more than happy to help with the suckling..Once your milk comes in you can adjust how much you want by the number of nursing's you do...Bottom line the more you feed your partner the more you produce...This is a beautiful thing to do...it is a very intimate act.

This is what I found to help women start to lactate ho haven't before or aren't presently:

BEGINNING REGIME AND DAILY REGIME: This is the exact regime I followed. It is not for the faint of heart and there is no guarantee that what worked for one person will work for another. I certainly wish I had a guideline to follow when I started. I would have felt less apprehensive. Pl ease feel free to send feedback on your experiences and opinions of the following:

PUMPING: For 4 weeks I used a dual electric pump every 3 hours for 20 minutes each time. I divided each session into 6-7 minute cycles with the pump on low, medium and then high. I did not pump during the night, but I did pump right to 11:00 pm, which meant I pu mped 5-6 times a day.

DRUGS: I started out on a drug called "domperidone maleate" prescribed by my fertility doctor 30 mg/day. The lactation doctor quickly upped the dosage to 80 mg/day. They are in 10 mg pill forms.

HERBAL TEAS: Comfrey, raspberry, nettle, red clover, alfalfa leaf and fennel. I still take 6 cups of tea daily, one of each herb plus a fenugreek tea bag.

HERBAL CAPSULES: Blessed Thistle and Fenugreek seed capsules. Fenugreek, much like domperidone is a digestive that also increases lactation.

THE DAILY REGIME: Four times a day I take the following pills/herbs with a cup of tea and then another cup of tea between times (total teas 6-7/day)

                    Pill regime 4 x a day at 7:30 am /11:30 am / 3:00 pm / 7:30 pm

                    1) 2 x Domperidone - (total of 20 mg)
                    2) 2 x Fenugreek capsules - (total of 1410 mg)
                    3) 2 x Blessed Thistle - (total of 870 mg)
                    4) 1 cup of tea with 2 bags, Fenugreek plus one of the 6 herbs above
                    5) and another cup of tea as above between pill times
                    6) I often hand pump while nursing (especially during the 1st 6
                    weeks).

When I was pregnant, my then husband was disgusted with my milk, and wouldn't try it when I asked him if he wanted to try. Since then it was briefly, jokingly mentioned during a relationship thats now over (that it was a pity he wasn't around when I was lactating as he would have liked to try that)....I really had no idea that lactating could be induced! I still have a little discharge from my nipples, although it is clear. Does that mean I could lactate easily again?
