Well, i have a feeling, not sure if it is right because your not giving much out, but that if you are a guest, then they know you are coming over and yet they put it on.

You say "guys" so i am assuming that this has happened a few times, at different homes, but the same "gang"? Another words they know each other.

Seems that it could be like Richard said, they are "jerks". One did it for a laugh, told the others, they do it and then they all laugh together about it.

If i am right, in which case, when you walk in and it's on, or they put it on, tell them they're jerks, what a shame you have to look at a tv for it and walk out...

Doesn't matter if they don't invite you back, you've put them back in their box so to speak and they also can only respect a woman who does that.

It just seems to me to be to unlikely that you go to several houses as a guest and this happens every time, unless 1) they know each other as i said, or its the same house with different guests but same thing.

Only boys do this sort of thing, not real men, real men wouldn't put that on when a lady walks in the house regardless of your age.

Actually if a guy could answer this question i think i could understand better. i have had times sitting around guys when a movie ended or something being bored and some light bulb turns on in his head to watch porno. i don't think it means anything but thats what barbie is trying to get at. she wants to know if they are secretly trying to say something to her..

listen men are to ****** in mostly my opinion to come up with a silent way of expressing their feelings to you.. they mostly just scratch their b***s and say what they want to do.
so if your question is as simple as you put it and not needing all this hot and heavy info like chandler if they are trying to screw around with you or say they wanna **** i would just flat out ask them.

or change your question to why does my guy friend like watching porn when i come over , not dating, i dont' ask to watch it , just puts it on any more questions

Have you asked them? Like when they put it on say "Do you have to watch that now" or "Why do you always put porn on when I'm here?"

Interesting comments Peachesfromct. I believe if you re-read from the top a man did indeed attempt to answer the question but alas, was as lost as i was pertaining to answering it because she is not saying her boyfriend, or future boyfriend, she is saying "any guy" even ones she doesn't know.

She is saying she is invited as a guest.

I don't think their hot and heavy questions at all to be frank, and i believe that more than myself are asking her, and she is answering.

I also do not see any "hot and heavy" answers i require or need to know nor the other posts, rather, what situation is she in when this is occuring, then it will be easier to come to a conclusion to provide the appropriate answer instead of second guessing.

People come here for answers and it is not necessarily easy to answer if you can not see the full picture in front of you.

I imagine that may also be why she has had little response from other members, as no one knows the situation to answer properly.

Opinions are interesting things, facts allow people to provide answers, of their opinion but at least pertaining to facts.

I am sure that a male will attempt this as well, with or without more information.

But frankly, she is invited as a guest. It has been with men she knows and not that well. It may be each date she goes on and they invite her to their place and all are doing it? Which would be strange, as i said, unless they all know each other because men are not all alike don't you think?

At least one date that she is invited over surely watches tv with her a video or listens to music would you not assume?

i honestly don't know what type of picture to give you. It is not every single guy but it has happened with a few. The guys i am close friends with do it because they put some funny stuff on i mean its more comedy with porn added. guys i kinda know don't really hang out with gone to party with a few times do it and it doesn't bother me but to me it is like they don't know me so there for i don't know them and what is going through their heads when they put this on. Is it supposed to get me in the mood i know i have flirted with a few of them but what the hell.


my guy friends on the other hand i know are jerks that would never back stab me most of them i have known since kindergarten tight crowd Dawson's creek type deal. we have done everything together and always stand up for each other. if i were to kiss them we would feel like it were incest. 2 of them even grabbed some a hole that was trying to rape me when i was 14 and beaten the **** out of them. So if your wondering about my guy friends vs some of these other guys i have met maybe thats a good picture for you...


My question mainly is on the few random men that i have crossed paths with hung out with once or twice that have done this.

Are they trying to push me away or are they trying to say look what they are doing wanna do that or is there any meaning to this at all.
i know i do tend to wonder what other people are thinking and maybe it just ends at these guys are just immature men I am 28 and most of them are of this age range.

Well it's good that you have male friends that close, i have a few and it's great to ask them questions, especially like this one.

You say that they say " hang out" maybe it's not a date and they feel comfortable with you as a "mate" and therefore do this in front of you, especially if there are more guys there.

I do think that you are right though. I think they are very imature to do this regardless of whether they class you as a "mate" or in fact like you and show this in private when there is just the two of you.

I guess if they put their arm around you and talk to you on the phone, include even a pub date, in between all of this, then it's a date, so it is immature i think and frankly, not very "gentleman like" of them i would find it insulting especially as we haven't even hit first base yet... Perhaps you don't need that type of "mate", ....

They may think that they are "super studs", you know those who want to brag what they got but really don't have it, can do the talk but not the walk, and this is there way of showing you, or a female in general, they know what to do to a woman, look see, i watch porn so i must act it out as well.

Either way, you can do better than an insecure man hey! Because that is what type of person that man is who hasn't been intimate with you yet.

In short, i think porn is to be watched by men if they want together, that would be the immature guys i think, who laugh at what they see, or a man who watches it on his own as he wishes to do so.

But, only in front of a woman that he has already become intimate with because he is intimate with her and wants to explore that intimacy more together, as a couple.

So, my advice is, you don't need those types of guys in your life anyway, if you like them and you say you have flirted with a few of them and have large breast, sure they are probably testing the water as well, would she?

Think maybe you just need to clarify to them if you want them in your life as "mates", or in a relationship that thats " boys stuff" catch you at ........ have fun and leave. Then you are giving the impression that you are not interested in doing their "boy stuff" with them, nor in them / him tempting you purely for sex, which shows your a good friend still and a woman.

You can also inadvertently, ask your true male friends "do you guys watch porn? would you do it in front of a woman? that type of thing and see also what they say, without telling them, incase they go and bash these guys up as well

Anyway, truth, if they / he really likes you he'll ask you out on a proper date after this. Standing your ground nicely is confident, i know you are shy you stated that, but they will see that even so, you are still to be respected as a woman.
