    Brazilian Wax!

Hi! I'm getting married soon, and I want my honeymoon/wedding night to be perfect. Do guys perfer a brazilian wax?? Has anyone had a brazilian?? How many days before the wedding should I get it done??

Also, I know the tissue is very sensitive, definately after shaving or any type of wax. Will any type of lubricants cause irritation after these procedures??? Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

    Thank-you so much!

I would say just get a bikini-line wax, don't go for a Brazilian unless that's what you want for yourself. What men like is for a woman to look trimmed and clean when you are stripped down to your underwear. To be honest when I reach down there and feel a "full bush" and the pubic hair is wet because she is all turned on, that can be quite a nice feeling.

It all comes down to a personal preference. I keep myself shaved because I like to feel clean, and because women seem to like going down on a guy when there is not a lot of pubic hair to deal with. Anything that makes a woman feel better about doing that is near and dear to a man's heart.

My husband likes me completely hairless. I use a product called Magic Shaving Powder. It's very gentle and gets rid of all the hair. It's not painful either! I've heard getting waxed is very painful. Congrats on your wedding and good luck!

I shave, not all, and i wish that middle part would be thicker as i think it's sexy to have but alas, what can i say.

Shaving sucks, it seems to be a "never ending story", and to get it right!!!!

So this is the second time i have heard about the Magic Shaving Powder!!

Being in Australia, truly i don't think it's promoted, so best i google yet again...

Any tips though would be grand, if there are stores that we all share all over the world!!

Chandler do you have Wal-Mart in Australia? I just found it there. I have mentioned it in other threads before. It would be found with the ethnic hair products. I hope you find it.

I get Brazilian and I love it. I do not like to go completely hairless - I need to see some hair or I feel like I'm twelve, which leads me to think my hubby is thinking I'm twelve... I don't need to go on, you get my point.

So I have them leave a little rectangle of hair in the front, so I have something there, but my lips down to my coolie are hairless. You can also get, which I have, a modified Brazilian, where the esthetician goes in very close down the sides towards the tush but leaves it.

I say, go for it. The sensations and feelings after are so amazing, you are soooo smooth. Oral feels so amazingly intense with his mouth on the bare skin, which of course hasn't been bare in that way before. You're much more aware of down there, and perhaps because its more sensitive, you seem to get more easily aroused.

If you do it, please don't let it grow too long before you do it, or you'll have hairs that don't come out by the root, which is the point. Do it a week before. You should only be red the day you get it done, and depending on your skin type, that will determine whether or not you get a little swollen, etc. The last time I went the woman used organic wax and for some reason it made a big difference. Take two Advil or Tylenol beforehand, or get some numbing creme, which can help but I've never used.

And if you get the whole shebang, please know that the tush hurts the least. Something about the nerve endings. You feel warmth and that's it, nothing else. The worst part is when they wax horizontally across your pelvis, to move the hairline down. I don't know why it is, but I feel it's important you prepare yourself for that one.

Ask your fiance what he thinks before you do it. I knew my hubby liked it, which is why I did it the first time. The maintainence-free month you'll have in between makes it very worth it, in my opinion.

i personally get the hollywood wax which is everything waxed! my boyfriend likes it better and says it turns him on more but let me warn you it does hurt!!...A LOT! But eventually the more you get waxed the less it hurts. good luck oh and you should get waxed maybe a day or 2 before you will be irritated and some lubricants may cause irritation. coconut oil and jojoba oil work great to ease the irritation.

Almost everything I've heard says that yes, they prefer Brazilian waxes. But even if not, it will be an excellent treat for the honeymoon!
