You might try increasing your bad carbs like sugars and pasta. Also caffiene may lower libido. My wife got a book called "The Orgasmic Diet". It recomends reducing or eliminating these from the diet to increase libido, so increasing them might reduce it. It's worth a try. Also the book says birth control pills and smoking are culprits in low libido women.

I can say this that reducing them helped my wife.

As a woman ages and matures very often this happens...To most women they would welcome it with open arms. Some will frown on it...As for me I live with it and I love it and believe me I am much older.

My husband, being older could never keep up with me...Yet my sexuality is so high that I have taken him off Viagra and now have made him with a new method of sexual stimulation, so that he is hard as a rock during sex...He never needs his hands to guide himself in during entry and is truly something else...He is this way for one reason...I am like you in many ways and very sexual and a heck of a turn on...You are very sexual and this is coming through with your actions with him....Will this continue with you? Probably....Here is where you will help yourself...Either with masturbation or learning to control the inner you that is allowing this passionate woman to come forward....I would strongly recommend that you do not take any muscle relaxants. The problem being, once you lose what you have found you probably will never find it again.....

      Much luck....Caroline

I am familiar with this book and it is to make a woman more sexual...This she does not want to do....Her's is a mind game and part of pre menopause and will probably be there on the other side of menopause...It is just part of the maturing woman....

This is off kind of off topic but something I've often thought about.

I have a very high sex drive and I see a lot of other women do, especially over the age of 30 - not to say that they don't at any age. But since the primary function of sex is to reproduce I'm wondering if maybe it might have something to do with us getting closer to menopause and mother nature telling us "hey your time clock is running down, get busy".
There is a method to my madness ........ I just haven't found it yet.

To me that is baloney written in books. The number of women that are hot to trot in their 40's, 50's and much later is a joke...But they write these stu*id books how you are going to lose your sex drive and they believe it...So what happens is a woman around 45 or so starts tuning down as she is supposed to...The books say so and the poor guy that needs help getting it up anyway as he is aging, is lost in la la land hungry for a woman sexually who is not sure what she is supposed to be doing at this age.

Why do you think that the majority of women on the internet looking for men are over 40? They are sexually hungry...Many of them would settle just to be laid...These are the hot and sex women....They know what they want...When they are younger they are still learning....Fallen...you have only just begun and I am still a baby.....What we have inside us does not die....The mind dies....not the sexual parts....

I sure hope not because I am at a good place to be.

As a side note I truly don't believe that medical science is the absolute answer to anything.

In addition to my previous post, I have thought about this on occasion as there have been so many posts about the female libido and how different it is among us as a group.

We all see that it seems for the most part that women as a rule seem to be more sexual after 30. And if you were to use the same thought I posted above what is it that could be said for the younger ones that don't seem to have as great a drive? Could we say that mother nature knows they have plenty of time so therefore their sexual drive has not been pushed into overdrive because they have plenty of time?

Maybe these things do play a part in the overall picture but I think we have the power within us to over ride it. We just have to want to.

I believe you are completely correct in saying it is a mind game of sorts for us women. IF we let all the "supposed to be's" into our thinking we will become one of the statistics.

I think you have hit the nail on the head here...When we are younger with children we are busy and sex kind of becomes second place...It has to...We are busy...BUT as we age we have more time...We think about it more...We are coming to that wonderful time when our periods are gone and this brings a relief in every sense of the word...I have talked to and seen more very sexual women in their 40's on up and I just feel this for a fact but science can mix them up with what it preaches...They told me after my hysterectomy that I would be sexless...It was a joke...But women believe it and after a while just plain do not care. You are living in sexual heaven and know different and for you it will never change unless you alone want it too....Keeping yourself alive either with a man or a machine is the name of sexual happiness....

I watch and have watched older women who look at us both at Malls and other places...My husband is very loving and his hand will be on my back or holding hands and once in a while a casual touching of my butt....I love it..It reminds me that I am still a wonderful sexual creature...But how many forget to remember......That is the secret.....A woman's stimulated mind turns a man on.....It gives him his youth....

Caroline please re-read my post. I think she should try the opposite of what the book says to do. IE: eat lots of sugar and white starches and take caffiene. I won't recomend smoking to anyone.

I think she should think twice on this...I have a sex drive that is what I would consider very high. Each day I keep my calorie count to around 1200...I have my two slices of white bread and three to four 24 ounce bottle daily of Diet Pepsi....Sweets are my weakness...See's Chocolate and I are very good friends...Great Butterscotch Pops too...
