    amy40,

Check WebMD. It was one of many sources that found increased testosterone in women increases their desire for sex.

My g/f's endocrinologist told her that elevated levels of testosterone in women does increase women's sexual desires.

"Testosterone is often cast as the manly hormone, the chemical bestower of virility and the reason for men's high sex drives. But new research turns this conventional wisdom on its head. In healthy men, it turns out, testosterone isn't linked to sexual desire at all. And in women, high testosterone is actually associated with less interest in sex with a partner.

Complicating the picture further, while high-testosterone women may be less interested in slipping between the sheets with a lover, high testosterone is linked to greater interest in masturbation in healthy women, according to research detailed online in May in the journal Archives of Sexual Behavior."

You've referenced the wine in a couple posts. I'm curious about what role that plays in her sex life.

your gf's higher libido is only a problem if you think it is
since you started this thread, and she has asked you to get on meds, do you think it's a problem?

            Hi amy,

No, I'm not into meds. However, I know many men who take prescribed ED meds. To the one, they have all said it's beyond fantastic. So the aspect of sex all night long is alluring. But I'm not sure I want to take meds. I am seeing my physician early tomorrow morning. I'll ask her.

I do not think my g/f's libido is a problem. In fact, I think she's blessed with a healthy sex drive. I've always encouraged her to explore her sexuality to her comfort level. If she gets off exposing herself, I'm good. If she wants to fantasize about doing many dudes at once while we're having sex, I'm good. While I can't write definitively, I'd doubt that many women her age can cum as many times as she can. I've told her that there are no quotas on the number of orgasms she has. She can have as many as she wants. And her preferred way to orgasm is oral sex. As far as she's concerned, I can bury my head between her legs all night long.

              Hi atskitt2,

It depends. I'm at my best when I haven't had anything to drink. Red wine is allegedly the elixir of youth. It's extremely healthy. We're 100% comfortable with each other sober or after a few glasses of wine. Wine does lower inhibitions. But with me, she has none. It does help to relieve stress of life. When she drinks more than four glasses, she does become very talkative, especially about sex, which is how I've learned of her vast sexual experience. I've never judged her. And I'm a good listener. She'll become more aroused when she talks about sex.

I also mean endorphins, but dopamine, serotonin and other hormones are probably part of the mix. Just because the hormones are natural doesn't mean that they aren't addictive.
