What is your age? Exactly how long has this been going on?

Do you have a stressful lifestyle or job?

Think back to when this change started: Was there any changes or events just prior to the decrease in sexual function?

Are you with a regular partner and how is that relationship?
Why such frequent lab work? Is it due to this issue or is there another health issue being monitored?

What exactly do you mean by, your body won't allow you to have sex?
And what do you mean when you say lubes don't work?

Eta: Wow... Sorry for the drilling questions
    Excellent questions.

If she's postmenopausal, that might explain it; however, I've had sex with postmenopausal women who were wet, ready, & wild. None had difficulty reaching orgasm. What I'm implying is that OP probably has a deeply masked medical issue. But that's merely a guess.

From my experience, when a woman knows great she, she'll love and want it every bit as any dude. OP knows great sex, There has to have been a cause for her transition to virtual celibacy. Maybe regression therapy might help her.

Helpmexx69, I wish you the absolute best.

This sounds like either a serious hormonal imbalance or something perhaps psychological. The advice to "have more foreplay" is idiotic.

Hello there. New to forums but I ran across this one.
Seems you and I are in the same situation. I'm 39, but in my younger years I was willing and ready whenever my boyfriend (at the time) wanted it.
I went 6 years with nothing due to a really bad relationship. Had no desire or need for it.
Now, I can think and think but my body doesn't want to cooperate. I am married & I know it frustrates my husband.

Daily stresses can be a big factor.
I have also been reading up on being celibate for a long period of time. Guess if you go without for a long time, even if you were very active, it takes time to build the libido back up. Sounds weird, I know, but read up on that.
Also.....have you had your thyroid checked or any history of problems with your thyroid? This controls a ton of stuff with your body, maybe read up on it and go have your hormone levels checked. Took a long time, but finally had mine checked and it is very irregular. Could be a part of it.

Sorry its not much, but hope something in here helps ya.

I haven't had the desire to have sex sex in almost 2 years this is the Longest I've gone without having sex or even masturbating since I can remember but before this dry spell I would have considered my self nympho. I wanted kinky sex all day every day and now I can't get wet at all even when I mentally want and I have no luck with any over the counter lubes. I want to but my body won't allow me have sex

I'm not sure what you mean by kinky?

If you've experienced any kind of pain or trauma then its obvious why your backing away sex.

Sadly in this modern age I think its very easy to get really screwed up.

Tinder, Facebook its easier than ever before to meet people and have sex.

If your taking any psyche drugs then it'll kill your sex life.

The same may also be true of the pill.

Nothing wrong with taking a break from sex still I'd miss the cuddles, hugs, and the intimacy of a relationship if your not in one.

I think its true that we need regular sex and love to be truelly happy and content.

Lube is the last resort and ideally you should be getting wet and if your not then its because your just not getting aroused.

This new culture of sex without emotion is crazy.

As humans we need love, cuddles, hugs and affection this weird idea that we can just have sex and leave is nuts.

Women are just not wired that way.

I dont know enough about your sexual history to make a judgment as to what's gone wrong or what maybe causing the problem.

Women need foreplay ,cuddling, kissing, hugs, love and caressing for maybe hours to get sufficiently aroused before they are wet enough to enter.
A few months back I started reading articles about the affects of pornography on men and it also applies to women.

They were saying that prolonged exposure causes dopamine fatigue whereby more and more porn is needed to get the same fix.

Which is a bit like narcotics the more you take of it the less you get from it as your body becomes accustomed to it.

In other words its the law of diminishing returns.

          Back to porn.

After years of being exposed to the affects of pornography boys or men need younger or different types of women to fulfil there fix and I suspect that this could lead to younger and younger women being sought after until ultimately the labido is kinda dead.

Maybe this is why some men take Viagra.

I cant quiet remember the entire article but I think they were saying the brain becomes wired for this virtual female without love and without any kind of intimacy.

So finally when they meet real women they have real trouble getting aroused because their brains are accustomed to porn not real humans.

Also in pornography the female actors are faking orgasms.

There is no love in porn its just the commercialisation of sex between humans.

Also often they are physically abusing the women in these videos.

If we look at those Twilight Vampire movies again there is this abusive relationship between the two lead actors.

Recently I read another news article about the trends of teenage boys and there is a trend to more violence in sexual relationships between teenage girls and boys.

Now its not normal or healthy to enjoy pain which is obvious I would think.

Which brings me to your problem and that is maybe its just because you've not been in a loving and caring relationship and maybe the sex wasnt that great or maybe it was just bad.

To reach the greatest pleasure a female can have a man must be willing to perform a lot of foreplay on a female.

That might be going for a long walk along a beach, hanging out together, doing fun and exciting things together, all those romantic things a man should do for their partner to make her happy and content.

This courting ritual has gone now.

Decades ago a man would court a girl meet her for months before even kissing her.

Maybe the guy would take her to the movies on Saturday with her mom sitting behind them making sure there was no funny business.

No television, no internet, no porn or maybe you might find some incrediblly rare bw photos of scantily clad women maybe showing their breasts.

He'd turn up on the porch ring the bell and present her with a bunch of flowers.

Manners, respect, pride, courting and then marriage.

You didnt get divorced you put up with it till you died.

So if you dont have any sexual desire just realise the world has changed for the worse.

You need a man that loves and cares for you.

A man that that is patient, gentle, slow and caring.

A man that caresses you and cuddles you and hugs you and adores you.

That would restore your desire and your confidence in yourself.

Women can be made to enjoy sex maybe even more than a man.

It just takes a man thats willing to perform foreplay on you till your aroused enough.

once orgasm has been achieved its all down hill meaning it gets better and easier.

Still to find a man like that now probably not so easy.

ANYWAY i hope my long drawn out explanation helps you resolve your issues.

          Tc

          little man in the boat.

There can be many different reasons I'm no expert but I have seen that both mentally and physically our body can shut down certain needs to protect it self. the same happends with sex. If it was a time that you had a 3rd party factor that reduced your wish and need for sex. That can snowball it self to after that factor is gone. Therefor you can be perfectly healthy again but your brain and body won't turn on the wish for sex again. Many people have had success with kinda forcing a kick start to their sex life again. With planning som kinda sex every day. Usually 30 days is a good time to keep this going.

If you feel that your lack of interest for sex is a problem for you. Try to say well the next 30 days, I will have sex every day even if I don't feel like it. It does not have to be with a partner I would actually say it's better alone some days as well. just to feel up your own body again and learn to appreciate it more again in a sexual way. This can kickstart your sexual drive as we humans are creatures of habit.

I would say it's worth a try. It's free and the worst that can happen is that it's not working and you've most likely still had a few good experiences.
