    See-Through Bikinis: What's Left?

    Google Images, "See-through bikinis."

A friend told me he saw two women whom he guessed were college kids inside of a grocery store that's located across Pacific Coast Highway from a very popular So Cal beach. Both were wearing see-through bikini tops and very short shorts. He said that both young women were very good looking and had hot bodies. He said every dude in the store checked them out, which was precisely what they wanted: male attention.

If women are wearing see-though bikinis, what's next.

My g/f told me that most women would rather be nude on a beach than wear a bikinis.

CA is extremely liberal. Who hasn't seen Hollywood starlets at the Oscars wearing see-trough clothes? I wondering whether state legislators will legalize nude beaches in CA.

I really don't care if they want to wear it at an adult oriented beach/party, but this seems a little extreme to subject kids at a grocery store or beach where kiddos are building sand castles. Desperate for attention.

I can say I would not rather be nude that in a bikini.

Times are changing. Years ago I used to go to nude beaches, but you had to be careful because every once in a while police would raid them. The beaches were generally secluded and everyone going to them knew that they were nude, even those people who complained to the police. Some of such beaches were family oriented enough that you would see parents and their children nude at them. Now you have what is essentially nudity in the stores.

I think the kiddos are more interested in building sand castles than ogling nude people. If there is any ogling, it will be done by adults.

It will take a long time before it is politically advantageous for politicians to support nude beaches.

I think that there should be adults-only nude beaches.

I can darn near guarantee you that you'll see at least one chick in a thong bikini walking on Pacific Coast Hwy near So Cal beaches.

Maybe this topic should be in the Lounge because it really isn't about sex.

There are de facto nude beaches in Santa Barbara County and Black's Beach in San Diego County. Black's Beach has current write-ups on Yelp.

Funny, I posted here earlier, must have been too fast exiting and it didn't post.

Time and place for everything. Appropriate attire is important, though modesty is long gone.

I've not been a conservative dresser for many years. I was raised very strict and had to dress basically fully covered, loosely, most of the time. As an adult, I've enjoyed not enforcing those restrictions on myself. I wear anything as low cut or short hemmed as I want, and that I'm comfortable with for the occasion.

However, tact, good sense and respectful behavior are values I practice. I think more people should.

              atskitty2,

I agree. There's a time, place, and age for everything.

Last Monday, in the same store that my friend saw see-through bikinis, I saw two high school kids wearing thong bikinis. One had to keep pulling her sweat shirt over her *** to prevent it from showing. I wish her parents had seen her, they'd of kicked her ***.

Here's the deal with young women: they're always in competition with each other. If one goes transparent bikini, they'll all be showing what's behind Door Number 3.

Here's the deal with me: nudity has never bothered me. We all know what men & women look like naked. If a couple wants to sunbathe nude on an adults only beach, I'm 100% good. I'm not good with girls, like the two in the market, showing their *** es in public. I try not hate anyone because hate kills the one holding it, but I do hate pedophiles, which is the real reason I do not like full Brazilian. A shaved vajayjay reminds me of a little girl, and that turns me off quicker that a switch to a GE bulb. I know it's my issue. I also know that I'll never change. I'd rather have 70's bush than full Brazilian. But that's just me and my hatred for pedophiles. Now you guys know why I'm not a fan of full Brazilian.

My ex-wife was always the first one with her clothes off when we had pool parties at night. She loved going to nude resorts. Her being naked in front of other men never bothered me. Being naked and doing another dude are two distinct concepts.

My g/f once asked me if she should go full Brazilian. I told her that if she did, I wouldn't have sex with her. She never has. Like me, she associates full Brazilian with pedophiles.

It is very bad to wear so revealing dress in a public area!

I think some people here have rather unnecessary hang-ups! If the women are happy displaying their bodies I think they should have that right.

It's only sexual if there's that kind of touching going on, looking is not important. And it isn't going to harm any kid to see a naked body, we all have them and will all see our own in the bath. I think it's a good thing actually, because the puritan shame that many people put on nudity is unhealthy and unfair. Kids shouldn't be taught that their bodies are a thing to be hidden or ashamed of, nor should they learn the double standard that people assigned male at birth can walk around with shirts off but AFAB people can't as a positive idea.

Teach them that in certain places certain dress codes are socially appropriate, sure. But that someone out in public can't wear whatever they want or don't want to wear, provided they're breaking no laws? Don't teach them that.

Kids have more common sense than a lot of adults. They can figure things out for themselves if they're not misled into shame or fear of their own body - and they'll be more willing to ask questions and tell you about problems in that area, if you don't make them think they should basically pretend they don't have genitals.

My girlfriend was always curious about Blacks Beach. We we having a girls day out and on the way to our regular beach she said she wanted to go to Blacks Beach. I asked her if she was willing to go naked on the beach in front of men. She said "I will if you will".

Normally I would take it as a dare and do it, but going nude, I couldn't help remembering the only time I went skinny dipping. It was a secluded pool under a water fall in Hawaii. I couldn't refuse without being called chicken so I agreed. The girls and boys went to opposite sides of the pool to undress and get in the water. I stayed in the water up to with only head and shoulders out so nobody could see me. When we got out, we discovered one of the boys had taken out clothes. He threw them back at us one piece at a time so we had to run out and get them. I was so embarrassed it was all I could do to keep from crying. Later everyone, including the girls were laughing about it, but not me, I still felt embarrassed and could hardly look anyone in the eye. Later I had to go pee, it was the practice of one girl to stand guard while the other went in the bushes. After I finished, I look around where the girl guard was supposed to be, there was the boy who had hidden our clothes looking at me. I lost it and grabbed a big stick and ran him down and was beating him in the head and might have killed him if the other girls hadn't stopped me. After I got home, his parents called my parents and told them what I had done. If it had been my sisters or brother that had done that father would have beaten them with a bamboo cane until their back was bleeding. But father never beat me, I think is is because I am diabetic or maybe it was because he was not my real father. I still don't know why I was exempt from those beatings.

So I told her I would be too embarrassed to take off my clothes and we went to La Jolla beach. I still wonder if she would have gone naked on the beach. I'll never know.
