Absolutely! When a guy has trouble staying hard, it becomes problematic for penetration, especially if the lady is fairly tight. As he fails at penetration, he starts to doubt which causes him to lose his erection even faster. The work around is to change focus by going back to foreplay with no expectations. Sometimes something such as watching porn together will get him ready. A lot of situations could cause him to lose an erection such as tiredness, stress, medication, being too drunk, etc.
