    Sex. stds help

    Hi I’m not sure if this is talked about on here but I thought I’d try to get some advice . I’m 18 years old and I have been having bad anxiety on a situation I had about 2 months ago . This guy was trying to have sex with me and I told him from the go that we weren’t but we were kissing and that lead to genital rubbing and then he tried to go in but I stopped him . I’m not sure if his head slipped in for a few seconds or what but once I realized it I said no and we stopped . Literally the head if that for about 5-7 seconds . A week later I found out I got trichomoniasis from this small situation, then about a month later I was hearing that his ex girlfriend found out he gave Hiv to her . I been freaking out so bad .. no we didn’t have sex but he didn’t give me a STD from what did happen and I’m super scared .. does anybody know anything that could help me out ? Could I have gotten hiv from something so small like this .. I know trich is passed super easily but the fact that he had another std makes me think my risks was higher .. please help

      Get tested. That's really the only way to put your worries to rest.

      In the future, it would be a better idea not to place yourself in such risky situations, and if you do choose to, make sure condoms are used.
      Be careful, and take care of yourself.

        Women with trichomoniasis may notice:
        • Itching, burning, redness or soreness of the genitals;
        • Discomfort with urination;
        • A change in their vaginal discharge (i.e., thin discharge or increased volume) that can be clear, white, yellowish, or greenish with an unusual fishy smell.

        Having trichomoniasis can make it feel unpleasant to have sex. Without treatment, the infection can last for months or even years.

        So this at least is curable. HOWEVER, if he gave you this it would appear that if he used protection it didn't work and if he has HIV you must get tested and continue getting tested until given the all clear from whatever clinic or doctor you went to. Yes you could have contracted HIV virus. It thrives on blood and body fluids by direct contact which you have had.

        Good luck.
        That which we forget may as well never really happened.
