I had something similar as that after I had my third child. I think that some of the stitching grew into my skin. It was located just outside of the opening and it worried me for 3 years and it became darker. I felt really self conscience when having sex. I finally grew the nerve to pop it and It pussed out. I haven't had it since.

You know, if you have a fear, the only way to oliminate it is to get the answer.

It could be an in-grown hair more than likely it is..

But there is only one person whom can advise you, your Doctor.

So if your still worried, then as much as we don't like showing our parts to the Doctor, go and ascertain once and for all that it is, or isn't.

Inside the vaginal opening or inside of the vaginal lips?

If its outside the vaginal opening try a hot wet washcloth - a "compress" a few times a day and see if it helps. If it is a pimple or something like it, the hot water will help it release and it will clear up.

If it's actually a white bump inside your vagina, the doctor's the best person to help.

I agree, why speculate? Or, hope..... it's scary for sure to speak to a Doctor, i um, have, this um, but at the end of the day, they can help..

Never, ever risk a question and let it slip through fear....

It's not that bad, honest, go see a Doctor.

It could be anything right down to an ingrown hair. The warm compresses are good idea. Also, warm baths. If there is swelling, an ice pack may help as well.

You dont give a whole lot of information so its difficult to advise but one thing that would be of real concern is if this sore looks like a cankre sore, this is also a symptom of herpes. I am not by any means saying it is as it is very well possibly just an ingrown hair but you know what your history and the severity of this sore is and all that. You may want to make an appointment with an MD to be on the safe side.

If it is on the outer lips of the vagina it could very well be something called a Bartholomews cyst. Get it checked out as all you need maybe is an antibiotic, but yes any lumps that last a couple of weeks need a Dr to check.

                    UPDATE*
its a herpes type 1 sore
like a canker sore or a cold sore
                    but on my downstairs
freaky but apparently everyone who gets canker sores has herpes type 1 passed by saliva
