And just what, exactly, comes within the purview of "having sex"?

You sure that's 69 minutes per week not per year?
        :-)
Oh wait, you said "couples," not "married couples!"

I spend about 70-100 minutes per week jerking off, so this sounds pretty reasonable.

Does this match up with the people on this forum? Does this include foreplay and afterplay?

I think there are sufficient variables/permutations, interpretations of "having sex" etc. as to render the number 69, or any other number, meaningless.

Were couples asked to time every encounter? Or do the numbers stem from best guesses? If timed, when did the clock start to run, and when did it stop? I have not seen the "survey", so maybe these matters are set out with some precision, but that seems doubtful.

are you thinking the time is too long or not long enough?
or are the survey people rounding the numbers to get to 69 (for a sex joke)

I think the "survey" is probably tailored to a desired result...it's BS basically.

To use a popular term these days, fake news? May fit here.

Not thinking either too long or too short, given the lack of anything to put it in perspective.

If the time includes foreplay and some afterglow period, the 69 number is perhaps on the brief side. Does time time refer to only, say, penis in vagina time? Is the survey of a broad spectrum of couples, ages, etc.? Does it sweep in some of those couples or have sex only once a month or so, was well as those who rut like crazed weasels, never taking a rest?

I suspect atskitty has it pegged correctly as BS.
