Can’t tell if I’m squirting or what? Please help

    Have questions about squirting?

    We have more answers!

Read our Knowledge Base article, “Is Squirt Yellow Or Did I Just Pee?” here:

Hello, so I never squirted before and never really tried to but lately I’ve been using a vibrator on my clit and couple of days ago, I held it on there and I felt this weird feeling seizure like and it felt like I peed. So I thought maybe I just peed well the next few times I made sure I peed before and it still happened. Also I looked and some of it’s creamy and some just wetness. The thing I don’t get is when that happens it’s like I can’t fully orgasm though, it feels amazing but for some reason I cant finish. I always finish with other toys and my partner so I don’t get it. Does anyone know of any ideas on what is happening, like am I squirting? It doesn’t shoot out like on porn so that’s what is throwing me off and if it’s actually squirting then I really wanna show my partner but I’m worried if it’s just me peeing. But if it was me peeing why would it cause this crazy seizure feeling. It feels great but just cant finish properly. I’m new here and didn’t know where else to ask this question since google didn’t help much

Porn RARELY sets a realistic expectation of....well....anything.

It sounds like you're right and that you are squirting, to some extent. It doesn't sound like you're urinating.

      I 100% agree with Ashlee T.

Sex is wonderful, porn on the other hand whether directly (from viewing) or indirectly from society and expectations, is harmful. I know some women can squirt and some can't. If you do then bonus. But don't ever feel like you need to in order to feel sexually functional. I've had sex with two women in my life. One couldn't squirt, the one I'm with now does when she is extremely orgasmic. But I have never had it as an expectation for ether one of them. I don't even bring it up. I enjoy seeing her squirt but not because I want to play porn flick, its because I enjoy knowing she is feeling so good and becoming satisfied.

Let your body function the way it works best. If you think too hard about it, it takes the focus away from actually enjoying the experience of sex itself. Clearing your mind and just going with the situation as it happens is best. Remember, the brain is the largest sex organ in the body. If you are thinking too much about what needs to be, you won't experience what can be. Hope this helps.
