Birth Control & Infertility
My Wife has recently started a combined Contraceptive pill ****Yaz**** almost 4 months ago. We are recently married and want a long term Contraception. I have heard that using Contraceptive pills for long time causes Infertility and also Tumors in the Uterus, Is it true? We really want to have babies after 5 years because our studies not completed yet. So is it safe to use combined contraceptive pill for 5 years? Will she able to reproduce after 5 years? Any other side effects or precautions?

You should both speak with her doctor regarding the specific pills she is using — only because the answer to your question likely depends on factors related to that, particularly where the side effects are concerned.
I was on birth control for several years (5-6) when I was younger and had no problem conceiving; I experienced no lasting effects (that I know of).
I have heard that some implant contraceptives can make it difficult to get pregnant for some time once they're taken out, but as far as the pill goes, I haven't heard of such effects. Again, though, I'd consult with her doctor to know for sure.
